History

In the vast expanse of the Star Citizen universe, where corporations and empires vie for dominance, a group of like-minded explorers sought a different path. Founded in 2950, Zero-Point emerged from the ashes of cutthroat competition, uniting those who believed in cooperation over conflict. Inspired by the nomadic cultures of the past, we embraced a philosophy of resource gathering and peaceful exploration, proving that friendship could thrive even in the darkest corners of space. As the UEE expands and new worlds are charted, our mission remains clear: to build a community where every member can contribute, learn, and share in the wonders of the universe.

As the years passed, Zero-Point became a beacon for those disillusioned by the greed of mega-corporations like Crusader and Micro-Tech. During the Vanduul War, many saw the horrors of conflict firsthand, prompting our members to rally around the idea of peaceful coexistence. We turned our focus to gathering resources and providing support for those displaced by war, helping them find their footing among the stars.

In the aftermath of the war, the Advocacy and other organizations began to recognize our efforts. We formed alliances with small, independent factions that shared our values, allowing us to establish trade routes and resource hubs across the Stanton System. Our members became known for their commitment to legal gameplay, yet our willingness to explore the grey areas of the law led to thrilling adventures—whether it was navigating the treacherous landscapes of Pyro or trading with the Banu in the outer reaches.

Over time, Zero-Point evolved into a well-organized collective with multiple divisions that supported each other in pursuit of these goals:

  • Industrial Division: The backbone of the organization, responsible for mining, salvage, and crafting. Industrial ensures that resources are continually gathered and processed, keeping the economy and operations of Zero-Point running smoothly.
  • Logistics Division: Tasked with trading, supplies, and fleet logistics, the Logistics Division plays a key role in distributing resources and materials to various locations across the Stanton system and beyond. Whether it’s trading goods or ensuring that critical supplies reach those in need, Logistics is always on the move.
  • Support Division: Handling medical aid, repairs, refuelling, and rearming, the Support Division ensures that the fleet is fully operational and ready for any challenge. Support keeps all ships and crew members battle-ready and equipped to continue their tasks without delay.
  • Exploration Division: With a keen eye on scouting and mapping new worlds, Exploration provides valuable intel for Industrial, Logistics, and Security. Discovering resource-rich areas, charting safe routes, and locating derelict ships, Exploration pushes the boundaries of known space for the benefit of all.
  • Security Division: The bounty hunting and defense arm of Zero-Point, Security ensures that all operations are protected. Whether escorting miners or defending supply lines, Security keeps the organization safe from external threats.
  • Competition Division: Focused on arena combat and racing, the Competition Division brings together members who enjoy pushing their skills to the limit, engaging in high-stakes PvP and competitive events that help hone the capabilities of Zero-Point’s pilots.
  • Data Running Division: Specializing in data running and info trading, this division plays a critical role in gathering and exchanging valuable information, often working closely with Exploration to chart new routes and uncover hidden opportunities.

Today, Zero-Point stands as a testament to the power of unity in a chaotic universe. The divisions work in unison, ensuring that as we continue to gather resources and forge connections, we remain dedicated to the belief that together, we can carve out a space for friendship and exploration amidst the stars.

Manifesto

At Zero-Point, we stand united by our shared passion for exploration and community in the vast universe of Star Citizen. Our beliefs guide us as we navigate the stars together:

1. Unity in Diversity:

We celebrate the unique backgrounds and skills of every member. Everyone has a role to play, and together, we make a stronger team.

2. Exploration First:

Whether we’re mining asteroids in the Stanton System or trading with the Banu, our primary goal is to explore and discover. The universe is vast, and we’re here to experience it together.

3. Resource Gathering with Integrity:

We focus on gathering resources legally, but we’re open to walking the grey line when the adventure calls. Our aim is to strike a balance between excitement and ethics.

4. Support and Collaboration:

We lift each other up. Sharing knowledge, resources, and skills is key to our growth. Together, we navigate challenges and celebrate successes.

5. Community Over Competition:

We believe in building friendships and connections rather than engaging in cutthroat rivalries. Every member contributes to the positive atmosphere that defines Zero-Point.

6 Adventure is Key:

Space is unpredictable, and we embrace that! Whether it’s dodging pirates in Pyro or embarking on a spontaneous mission, we’re all about the thrill of the journey.

7. Have Fun:

Above all, we’re here to enjoy our time in the stars! Let’s make memories, share laughs, and create lasting friendships as we explore the cosmos together.
