History

In the year YC 117 (23350 AD), horror befell the galaxy surrounding New Eden. Circadian Seekers with advanced technology multiplied endlessly until there were no safe places in which to find refuge. After they purged the Jovian constellations of life, Drifter Battleships systematically slaughtered the inhabitants of the outer systems pushing the scattered races of humanity inward towards the galactic core.

It was here that the Battle Cruiser Miraculous scarified itself. Its crew, the last surviving remnants of the Jovian empire, ignited the nebulae at the heart of New Eden. Five hundred star systems and everyone and everything within them were instantaneously vaporized. However, the horrific act was not without purpose as a shining light erupted across the face of the dark sky. After thousands of years the EvE Gate had been reopened.

Thousands of capsuleers raced to the dying wormhole is a last desperate grasp at survival. Only a strong few would survive the journey. Expectedly, the wormhole was unstable and those the braved the escape passed close to the event horizon and emerged in the past, in the year 2944 AD.

The exodus of New Eden was complete and the surviving capsuleers found themselves home once again in the Milky Way galaxy. No longer immortal, no longer in control of the vast empires of New Eden, at the mercy of their fate. Their ships and technology rendered useless by the rigors of the passage, they claw and scratch their way into the fabric of these bold new horizons in a backward world of arising technologies, learning life anew.

Chief among them, were the pilots of Snatch Victory for it was with their insatiable drive to win and reckless abandon in the face of insurmountable odds that the few vagabonds achieved the crossing. Bound together by a brotherhood stronger than life they set about living life the only way they knew how.

Killing everything and getting paid to do it.
