The United Federation of Planets was originally formed as a gaming clan for Star Trek games back in May 2002, however over the years, it has transformed into a wider gaming community.
Check out our recruitment thread for what we offer

History

The United Federation of Planets has grown to become one of the largest and oldest Star Trek international gaming communities today, playing various Star Trek titles including Star Trek Online and Star Trek: Voyager Elite Force. The United Federation of Planets, or simply known as the UFP, was founded in May 2002, and was known as [FBN] (FlyByNight) for the first 3 months of its existence.

It started life as a small group of people, determined fans of the newly released Star Trek: Bridge Commander. Today, over 12 years on, we have a large and thriving community of like-minded players, playing a variety of Star Trek and Non-Trek games.

Over the years, we’ve picked up a diverse set of members from across the globe, ranging from countries in Europe, the Americas, Australia and Asia. Our member base is made up of an equally diverse set of ages and groups, all with a common goal, to enjoy Star Trek together as a community.

The UFP has a long and respected history, having made many allies over the years and establishing itself as an honourable community of Star Trek players. We believe in the principle of leading by example and our senior officers are selected carefully, to ensure this remains true at all times.

As a growing community in non Star Trek gaming, we hope you can join us in growing and diversifying our membership across multiple games and continents.

  1. - The purpose of the Code of Conduct is to ensure the existence of this community, through a set of articles and principles, which are to be followed by guests and members of UFPlanets.com (The United Federation of Planets), known herein as “The UFP”.
  2. - It should be recognised that the Code of Conduct applies to any aspect of UFP, regardless of whether it is the community’s forums or its gaming fleet.

Article 2

  1. - Any action taken that does not technically breach the Code of Conduct but is interpreted as going against the spirit of the Code of Conduct, may still result in action being taken against those involved.
  2. - The Federation Executive Office (FEO) reserves the right to take any action in the event of breaches of the Code of Conduct, including legal action, if applicable.
  3. - In specific cases, FEO can authorise activity that may conflict with the Code of Conduct but only if it is deemed in the best interests of the UFP and does not breach the spirit of the Code of Conduct.
