Outline

• The Sentinel Star Corps is a non-piracy, quasi-pmc with ambitions to be the goto org for all things security, exploratory and resource related.

Our reason for being

• The Vanduul have plagued humanity for a hundred years and have taken a heavy toll on the UEE Navy as they struggle to defend against their seemingly unstoppable onslaught. We intend to stem the tide.

• Though we are not a part of Operation Pitchfork, we do intend to support their efforts with Scouting, Refueling, Ship Repair, SAR actions, and other forms on help not laid out here.
  But unlike OPPF, we intend to remain after the operation has finished.

• We place a heavy emphasis on being self sufficient, so we can keep guard at all times. This will be accomplished through careful diplomatic ties and a skillfull Industrial Corps.

• We will keep mostly to the fringes of UEE territory, however we will keep several fleets in standby at critical holding points throughout UEE space.
  So if you need assistance, know we have the resources to deal with your problem in a timely manner, one that doesn’t involve dragging our entire navy from one end of the galaxy to the other.

• If you need cargo protected, resources identified, jumpoints mapped and cleared and everything in between, we’re your org.

• If you want to be an affiliate, you are welcomed with open arms. We have a dedicated arm of freelancers which will play a large role in meeting our objective as set forth in this document.

The Sentinel Star Corps, hereafter referred to as SSC consists of the following compositions and guidelines:

• The Naval branch or SCN is tasked overseeing defensive operations system wide across all sectors currently occupied and in the process of being secured and developed.
  The SCN is tasked with protecting our commercial and industrial branches in space and providing orbital security for developing bases and outposts.
  The Naval branch is most called upon when fleet movements are underway, be they mining expeditions, patrols or transport of assets, it is this purpose which the joint admirals consider most critical.
  The Navy is also obligated to answer when called upon by the SMC for supporting engagements or close air support. (Note that this does not give the Marine Corps discretionary powers over the Navy)

• The Sentinel Marine Corps or SMC is responsible for all infantry and mechanized actions, as well as providing ship security in conflict zones and maintaining a presence at our FOBs. To accomplish these goals, the SMC operate their own fleet seperate of the Navy and have a broad mandate when it comes to protection of org assets.

• The Sentinel Corps of Engineers or the SCE is tasked with all vessels of a supportive nature, as well as being responsible for the overall state of the entirety of our spaceborne fleet.
  They will handle all repair and refuel tasks,installation of weaponry on vessels (as well as producing scientific advancements and component overclocking The SCE are also responsible for stockpiling materials necessary for keeping the fleet at peak performance.

• The Industrial Corps or SIC is entrusted with our commercial fleet and is responsible for transportation of all assets needed to keep the org alive. They also have the freedom to pursue financial ventures deemed to be successful (this is decided at the discretion of its Commander, which is generally a Flag Officer). While this centralization makes coordinated efforts simpler, individual ship captains have the authority to take their ship and any assets attached to it and pursue individual endeavors not regulated by the SIC command staff, the profits (or losses) of any such ventures will be the ship’s commanding officers responsibility and is not subject to tariffs imposed by the SSC.
  To make the job of keeping the org afloat the SIC has discretionary powers over vessels that have commercial potential, what ships fall under this category will be decided at a later date and stamped in the clear to avoid misunderstandings or abuse of these powers.

• The Freelancers are responsible for all things that are not covered by the other divisions mandates as well as in times of hightened security; scouting, exploration and mapping and operating AWACS. The freelancers usually bring their own ships, but can request one for the vehicle pool.

• Diplomatic Corps is responsible for the overall coordination with the FOC alliance and for initiating and managing our diplomatic ties with similarly aligned orgs. The Diplomatic Corps operates their own selection of diplomatic barges, such as Origin ships for meeting with officials.

Clarification: All divisions will have their own internal charter to dicate their exact responsibilities and limits. This is an overview of our organizational structure.

For easier mangement all division directors will constitute the command staff, which will decide on all relevant matters as it pertains to the org. For shorthand, this select group is called the Admiralty.
