History

Origin and History of the TTTC

Founded on November 13th 2950 as a wildlife conservation organization, the TTTC made it to their goal to safe and rescue all the Tortoises, Turtles and Terrapins of the known Galaxy. If you are willing to help us in this noble undertaking, then feel free to join!

We like to welcome our 10th Member in the TTTC! Our first milestone in order to save the Tortoises, Turtles and Terrapins of the galaxy.

The TTTC made it into the Top 5 of the most active Organizations in the Verse, our best rank up to this day. I like to thank all our active members for their support.

The club just successfully executed its first rescue mission. We were able to save a couple of turtles and tortoises from black-hearted chef’s on ArcCorp, who initially planned to serve those poor fellas as food. Nevertheless, our Rescue-Team was there in time and now those endangered animals will have a happy life in safety.

As of now, the Club is still on the look for a possible location for our HQ. For now the Davien, Magnus and Stanton Systems look to be the most promising locations. We will announce the location after the Club made a decision.

We like to spread the Word about the TTTC and our Mission on this years World Turtle Day! Our members are dedicated to our Mission as on the first day and our community grows daily. If you have a heard for all the Tortoises, Turtles and Terrapins in the Galaxy so join us now! Nevertheless we like to use this opportunity and wish you all a happy Invictus Launch Week as Well!

As already earlier this year the Outlaws of XenoThreat started another Assault on the Stanton System. This affects all of us, as well the TTTC. So some members of the Club will volunteer in the CDF to fight back those Outlaws.

The fight is over! At least the fight against XenoThreat, it seems they have enough and heading back to the Pyro System. Yet our fight for the Tortoises, Turtles and Terrapins of the Verse still continues.

After some stagnation in the last months, our member count is on the upswing once again. So we like to welcome our 50th club-member.

Another year successful year for the TTTC! We like to wish everyone a Happy 2952!

The Club received an anonymous tipp, that there are plans for a big banquette on MicroTec, New Babbage. So far nothing unusual, but the horrific news were, that there are plans to serve Turtle Soup as the main dish. But don’t fear, the Club organized another rescue mission, and we could rescue 21 Turtles and Tortoises before they could be turned into a meal for those aloof VIP’s.

It seems our activities didn’t go unnoticed. We got rumors from members all around the verse that cruel turtle poachers start to organize and sabotage TTTC rescue attempts. The Club leaders will further investigate those rumors and will decide how the Club will operate in the future. Stay safe until then!

To our dismay, the rumors mentioned a few weeks ago seem to be far worse than we thought! It’s not only Turtle poachers who resist against the TTTC, we also get more and more reports of pirates attacking TTTC members! We highly recommend to not flight alone through the verse and if your personal moral allows it to arm yourself as a last resort.

2952 was a mixed year for the TTTC, we had some success at first, but the ongoing struggle with poachers and pirates still makes our work harder than it had to be. Nevertheless, we hope all our members and Turtle Lovers out there are Safe and Happy, and we like to wish them a Happy 2953!

It seems Pirate and Poacher attacks on Club Member continue, so the Council of the Club decided to keep a lower Profile in the short-term future. But be sure, our fight for the Turtles of the Galaxy is far from over!

Our ranks grow slowly but steady, like our favorite Animals live their lives. So the Council of the TTTC is pleased to announce we have reached a total of 100 members! Thanks everyone and keep up the great work!

Manifesto

The Idea

Our goal is to be the place to go for all the Tortoise, Turtle and Terrapin enthusiast in the Galaxy and provide them with help and tips for taking care for their shelled friends.

Short-term goal

In the next months to years we want to build a network of citizens who are willing to fight for a bright future for our favorite reptiles.

Long-term goal

In the long term we plan to claim a little pile of Land in UEE-Space, to build a small outpost which will serve as an animal shelter and research facility to help all the Tortoises, Turtles and Terrapins in the Verse.

Charter

Rules:

1.) Respect all the Tortoises, Turtles and Terrapins in the Verse

2.) Respect other Citizens and Xenos to! Be it Humans, Tevarin, Xi’an, or Banu!

3.) Do your best to help us in our mission to keep all Tortoises, Turtles and Terrapins save.

4.) Don’t take case in any action which may damages the good reputation of the TTTC.

5.) Report EVERY case of violence against Tortoises, Turtles, or Terrapins.

For breaking the rules, yeah….. we have a pit of hungry Alligator Snappers who have nothing to lose, so be creative.
