Triton was formed on Earth in the year 2072 by a group of undisclosed former intelligence agents from various countries from around the globe. These individuals had seen first hand how the balance of power would shift, and how governments fell with the right or wrong information they provided, and felt the world needed to know the truth. At first they claimed to be “Info Freedom Fighters”, with the intent of informing the world of the secrets their governments were hiding, by exposing the wrong doings and corruption that existed. They operated under the code name “Pandora’s Vox”.

Even though their intentions were good, soon after the information they released went public, the consequences of that information falling into the wrong hands was evident. The aftermath of their actions was worldwide, from economic crashes, overthrown countries, riots, and mass murders. The group after observing their error, realized that to maintain order and peace a necessary evil or shrouded veil must exist to protect the innocent and control the powerful, and so began their quest to restore balance. That same year the group ended up reaching out to billionaire Tech mogul Dekashi Lauder the CEO of “Neptune Research” for equipment assistance, resources and advise. Dekashi who later became the first publicly know founder of Triton, shared the same vision and as the group, and with his technology, abundant resources and the groups expertise they were able to infiltrate, manipulate and discreetly restore balance and order to the world before the year’s end. After their endeavor was completed, they all agreed that they must continue to be the driving currents from the abyss below the surface to ensure the tide of power does not sway in one direction, and thus Triton SSID was born.

Triton SSID (Strategic Signal Interception Division) is the leader in Advanced Engineering, Scientific Research, Electronic Warfare and Data/Intelligence gathering in the Verse. Triton is private contracting firm that provides cutting edge technology and services to its clients who require absolute discretion in the collection of intel or those who require an advantage over their adversaries with the use of electronic warfare, as long as they have enough credits to exchange for such leverage. Triton operates within the dark grey area of the law but will not hesitate to hack the system and rewrite the law for the greater good of the Empire. Even though Triton’s list of clients is extensive and goes back hundreds of years, they are very selective of the contracts they accept, and has been in the employ of the Empire since its conception. Triton has been UEE’s ace up their sleeve on countless occasions. Their database is second to none making the Advocacy’s database look like an address book in comparison, and the technology their ships and operators possess is unimaginable even in today’s times, bordering advanced alien tech.

Triton is comprised of some of the very best Engineers, Programmers, Hackers, Scientist, Pilots, Cryptologists, Operatives and Investigators in the verse, who’s reach expands far beyond that of the Empire. TRITON has eyes and ears in every known and unknown corner of the verse and beyond. The majority of their operations are controlled and completed before the target is even aware of the situation, and most of the time without the need for combat engagement.
