Welcome to the Union. Hard working individuals sometimes get caught up in trying to make ends meet, with no end in sight. We are here to lighten that load, working together to fatten those wallets. Working together to keep wages high, and work safety number one.

History

2460. It was the year of the exodus of millions of people leaving Earth, the planet humankind had inhabited for thousands of years. It was simple, there was just too much out there in the depths of space, and our nature as humans are to always look for more. Our founding fathers were no different. They knew the value of staying relevant, and they kept an important tradition alive into the stars. Fair wages for workers, who may not have access to the proper channels to the negotiating prowess of the Unions!

They left their homes, into the unknown of space, certain that no matter where they were to travel, there would always be a need for skilled laborers and hard workers. Forging a path into the universe, bringing the best mechanics and smiths, or anyone willing to turn a wrench for an honest day work. It wasn’t about the flashy life, because the passion was in the work. Sure, they Union made plenty of money, and had all the toys, but that is the reward of honest work.

As time went on, and as conflicts with the enemies of our species waged out, humanity itself became a bit…fragmented. Pirates, vagrants, smugglers, war parties. They just became part of the culture, but what do you expect with so much space? The TU stayed on its toes though, always willing to adapt to survive. While staying in the most morally gray area they could maintain, they worked seamlessly clearing wrecks, and fixing ships across the universe. Some days a team would be working alongside UEE, another day repairing a hangar full of pirates or smugglers. It was always about the reputation, for all sides.

This brings us to today, and to why you are here! You are here, because like our forefathers, you have the passion to take on a job others might scoff at. Like me, you are willing to take that six jump point run to the middle of alien territory. Why? Well that big bad bounty hunter organization lost a few valuable ships and parts chasing a smuggler, but they lack the tools for the job. No matter how bad this universe gets, there will always be a market for us!

Manifesto

There is still a lot of time to prepare before the final launch of this game, however I am hoping to begin the setup and negotiations with other organizations to get work contracts.
