History

The Night’s Watch is an ancient military order who’s origins date back to a time on Earth, long, long ago, and we remain true to our order’s founding principles as sworn brothers of the watch and protectors of mankind. Our order goes all the way back to a more primitive time, when we were the watchers on “The Wall”, which was an immense ice structure that separated the northern border of the Seven Kingdoms of men, from the hostile creatures and lands that laid beyond. Since that ancient time long ago, mankind has evolved and spread to the far reaches of the known universe. The threats to mankind are now far greater than ever before, and the need for The Night’s Watch is more important now than at any other time in the history of the human race. We call upon all who are able and willing to take the black and protect the future of all mankind.

Manifesto

The current HQ for The Night’s Watch is located on Castle Black, an Idris-P Frigate orbiting the planet of Terra.

The Night’s Watch consists of three groups:

- The Rangers: who are called to fight, defend, and patrol around established human settlements throughout the verse.

- The Builders: who are asked to provide support and help maintain the Watch’s fleets.

- The Stewards: who are charged with helping supply the sworn brothers of The Night’s Watch through trade and exploration.

All that we ask of you is to remember your oath and to aide your sworn brothers whenever possible.
