Charter

Article I: Name and Purpose

The name of this organization shall be Task Force Nova, herein referred to as “TFN.”
The purpose of TFN is to serve as a dedicated military simulation unit within the virtual universe of Star Citizen, focused on exploration, camaraderie, and realism.

Article II: Membership

Membership in TFN is open to all individuals who share our values and commitment to our mission.

Prospective members must undergo an application process and demonstrate their willingness to adhere to TFN’s core values and principles.

Members are expected to actively participate in TFN activities, uphold the organization’s standards, and contribute positively to the community.

Article III: Leadership

TFN shall be led by a Commanding Officer (CO) and an Executive Officer (XO), appointed by a majority vote of the membership.

The CO and XO shall be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of TFN, implementing strategic initiatives, and upholding the organization’s values and standards.

Additional leadership positions may be established as deemed necessary by the CO and XO, subject to approval by the membership.

Article IV: Operations

TFN shall conduct a variety of operations within the Star Citizen universe, including exploration missions, training exercises, and collaborative ventures with allied organizations.

All operations shall be conducted in accordance with TFN’s principles of realism, discipline, and teamwork.

Members shall receive training and guidance to ensure their proficiency in various roles and responsibilities within TFN’s operations.

Article V: Code of Conduct

Members of TFN shall conduct themselves with professionalism, integrity, and respect towards fellow members and the broader Star Citizen community.

Harassment, discrimination, and disruptive behavior will not be tolerated within TFN and may result in disciplinary action, up to and including expulsion from the organization.

Members are expected to adhere to all rules and guidelines established by Cloud Imperium Games (CIG) for the Star Citizen universe.

Article VI: Amendments

This charter may be amended by a two-thirds majority vote of the membership, provided that proposed amendments have been circulated to all members in advance and discussed openly.

Any amendments to this charter shall be recorded and incorporated into the official documentation of TFN.

Article VII: Dissolution

In the event that TFN is dissolved, any remaining assets shall be distributed in accordance with the decision of the CO and XO, with due consideration given to the interests of the membership.

The decision to dissolve TFN shall require a two-thirds majority vote of the membership, followed by a detailed plan for the orderly wind-down of operations.
