The best weapons and thrusters and the most exotic goods that modern engineering can produce, delivered as quickly as tomorrow’s spaceships can fly!

History

Originally an engineer and a contractor, Tippit and Rivers were forced into the mines of Ellis XIII to pay off debts from previous failed business ventures. For six months they mined faster and more productively than anyone else in the mine, but held on to the excess metals and other raw materials. After they had an impressive stockpile, they banded together with several other miners with important skills to build a starship hull and used their pay to outfit it rather than pay back their debts immediately.

With debt collectors breathing down their necks, Tippit and Rivers took their ship and crew to the asteroids of Ellis and started racing, shipping, and trading their way into some startup funds. After winning a “junk ship” race and a large shipping contract, Tippit and Rivers paid back in less than a year the debt that would have taken ten years to pay off in the mines.

Since then, TARMAC has stood for ingenuity, cleverness, and resourceful engineering.

Manifesto

TARMAC delivers superior ship components and high-quality goods at competitive prices, specializing in weaponry and thrusters. With a modest fleet of merchant fighters and a Constellation, TARMAC is also suitable for delivering high-cost goods through dangerous space, and is equipped to handle time-sensitive or confidential contracts.

TARMAC’s real strength lies in modifying key ship components for high-end use, and in importing ship components from exotic sources. If you want a key modification or a clever solution to your engineering problem, you want TARMAC.
