Space. Endless and empty but home to a restless group of citizens operating under the banner of their own beliefs.

2940:
The “Marauding Legion” is formed, following the initiative of Captain Watney.
First group activities are information gathering and small crimes without being acknowledged by greater authorities.

2942:
The “Marauding Legion” expands and the member number increases after notable profit is generated by taking over traders ships and their cargo but disappearing from the scene before legal authorities can intervene.

2944:
The legions fleet consists of a decent number of ships, allowing for bigger operations from the headquarters on an uncharted asteroid somewhere in the belt of Yela, founded by an ambitious Lieutenant named Dmitri Pryce.
The legion attacks more and more big trade convoys, generating immense profit, leading to a vast expansion of members and the fleet.

2945:
Dmitri Pryce is promoted to vice leader of the legion in charge of half the fleet, including the “Marauding Pride”, a Polaris class Corvette and the biggest ship of the legion.

2947
Dmitri Pryce grabs the lead of the Marauding legion by creating false evidence Captain Watney would act for his own profit undercutting the legions objectives.
The “Brothers war” is triggered when Watney stands against Pryce, defending himself and federalizing with the true members of the legion

2948:
The Legion fights eachother with one group being led by Watney and the other by Dmitri Pryce

2949:
After one year of bloody fights and an unknown number of lost lifes and ships, the “Marauding Pride” is captured and brought down, eliminating Pryce and his remaining mutineers.
CaptainWatney and his long time friend, going by the name of Lieutenant J. Cooper, form the “Star Marauders” to once again operate a powerful organisation without the ambition of expanding into something enormous to prevent what happened to the legion.
