History

WE HAVE ARRIVED

Due to the lack of larger local Factions, SSAP has been made to fill the void. We would love to see the ZA community more active and local. I hope that you join our journey with some great Saffer Citizen’s!

WHY

Are you a Pioneering Star Citizen based in South Africa or Nearby? Break away from the corruption and crime on Terra and join us in an environment of opportunity and hope.

Long enough has the people of Southern Africa been looked down upon whilst the world head into the stars. We have thus propelled ourselves to the front-lines of space faring. Here we intend to establish our legacy, and show our true colours in all it’s diverse glory.

And by the words of the Legendary Icon from long ago, Nelson Mandela: “It always seems impossible until it’s done”, we too will strive to Get It Done.

Manifesto

OUR VISION

SSAP is an Organisation of Association made to benefit every career path, and every members goals. And thus the goals of SSAP lies rather open until we have enough members to help direct us in a course. We are based in South Africa, and anyone who wants to have fun in the Verse with friendly like-minded people is welcome to join our momentum. A forum thread is set up, and a TS channel will be added when it becomes relevant. The manifesto and charter is open for suggestions. This is everyone’s SSAP -Have Fun! :D

  • Sub Saharan Astronautical Pioneering is an organisation that aims to pave the way in many divisions of Space exploration, trading, security, salvaging, entertainment, defence and special services industries, using the combined might of the Sub Saharan Countries of Terra.

OUR CODE

  • We strive for the overall success of every member of SSAP.
  • We are all equal parts of the equation, and all have an equal vote to instate a council.
  • We respect other Citizens and their property.
  • We respect other Citizens opinions, even if at odds with them.
  • We stand firmly against actions taken against us in adversity, from any entity.
  • We will defend ourselves vigorously on attack as is our right.
  • We all benefit from associated business and career opportunities.
  • We all stand together against forces come against us.
  • We are pioneers in a vision and thus will strive to let us be defined as such in every way.
  • We do not forget, friends or enemies, but strive to live in symbiosis with all factions.
  • We are guided by our parts, our people. Together we aim to a future we all hope for.

LEADERSHIP

A three seat Council, is the current proposal to manage an organisation of association like this. If however enough members of SSAP propose that another system should be used, votes will be cast, and thereafter a forum will be held to draft the new constitution and SSAP’s system of management.

Currently the council remains closed until it’s instigation is required. Lobbying and voting by members will decide the Council representatives.

And if you were still wondering, we are recruiting! Also visit our Official Forum Thread for general discussions.

“Everything we do really is just a little marker on the long road to death. And sometimes that’s overwhelmingly depressing to me, and sometimes it makes me feel kinship and forgiveness. We’ve all got the same ending to the story. The way we make that story more elaborate, I got to respect.”
― Joss Whedon
