Operational Guidelines for
Valémus
These rules are to be observed by all members.
1. Follow the hierarchy of valémus
2. Be active! To gain any real promotion or position in valémus requires you to be an active player. It is also a requirement that you log in at least once a week unless prior notice is given.
3. Communicate! While it is understood that some people prefer not to jibber jabber, you are still expected to say hello and goodbye.
4. Get on comms! Where this may not be compulsory, TS3 use is a prerequisite of all positions and roles within valémus. It is a given that TS will be used during any op and so on.
4a. Be in the appropriate channel.
4b. Chats are still to be used to prevent aural overload.
5. Work together! The syndicate is made up by many types all whom play different roles within the game. As such there are very few things that you can or should do by yourself, so when possible work as a team, whether with syndicate members or affiliate friends. Again this is a prerequisite for furthering your career with valémus.
6. Read! Emails and documents aren’t created and posted for no reason. If you fail to find out relevant information you add risk to yourself, the corp and the alliance.
7. Watch your actions to be sure that you don’t bring negative attention to valémus.
8. Don’t be greedy! Remember you aren’t the only person using the hangers you have access to.
9. All diplomatic issues should be passed along to the highest ranking member online at the time and/or the external parties involved told to email a Board member.
10. Work towards creating and keeping a positive environment in the syndicate and our affiliates. Strive to build an atmosphere that others want to join.
11. Be polite and helpful at all times, to everyone! Even those not belonging to our syndicate or affiliates.
12. If you have to question yourself if you can do something or if it might be a violation, chances are it is. Never be ashamed to ask, we all still have questions no matter how long we’ve been playing.
13. Purposefully scamming or ripping off any other player (with the exception of game play i.e. infiltration of and taking down from inside of another corp/org) is not permitted.
14. Starcitizen has enough arseholes already so mediate your actions to alleviate this.
