Starwind & Hawkins have had a long standing tradition with the UEE Military in the past as well as the location and distribution of resources.

Originally just “Starwind Transport”, the company picked up a successful contract transporting military grade equipment and goods for the UEE. This venture saw “Starwind Transport” grow rapidly and soon they had their sights set on the business market. Unfortunately, The contract with the military bound them to exclusive work with the UEE and were unable to pursue their plans for continued growth. 10 Years ago, the company decided to terminate the UEE contract early. Court battles have ensued between the UEE military and “Starwind Transport” over the early termination of agreements since. Recently, the issue has been settled. The company agreed to a large settlement, in return for the UEE Military to not pursue the matter further.

Meanwhile, “Hawkins industrial” a new upstart business set their eyes to the resource collection and distribution market. Their can do attitude and successful initial finding of a high density resource cluster on the outer rim of UEE controlled space, quickly gave them an advantage over similar companies in the sector. They soon became one of the main go to companies in the area. Over the last 20 years, the company has used up the last of their cache of resources. The continued search for a replacement cluster has caused the company to struggle financially.

During this last year, the two companies have been in discussions with each other. They finally announced they had come to an agreement, deciding to merge both companies under one banner with a view of co-operation and the benefit of all involved.
