“We’ll get it done, no questions asked.”
In 2670, three friends, BattleMalice, Rebound, and Luccid, were approached by a young Polli Delal to transport a load of her new weapons that her brother, Clem, had just manufactured to an outpost on Castor. Disillusioned with their current occupation, they took the job in the hopes of starting a new line of work for themselves. It didn’t take long before they were making regular runs to far flung outposts throughout the Corel system. On one of their return trips, they returned early and sought out Polli in the hopes of additional work. What they found at Polli’s workshop was Clem, a Tevaran with a knack for firearms, building the latest model handcannon from Gemini. It was then a silent agreement was made. StarCross, as the trio had named their beat up old Freelancer and their now newly minted company’s name, was going to continue hauling for Gemini, “No questions asked.” And thus, with the secret of Gemini now a non-issue, they showed Polli and Clem that they could be trusted, and regular work was passed onto them. Over time, as Gemini grew, so did Starcross Industries. As the decades, and now centuries have rolled by, the partnership between Gemini Weapons and StarCross Industries has only deepened. Other corporations, fringe groups, and even the occasional outlaw, has contracted work out to StarCross. Now based out of ArcCorp in the Stanton System, they consider to take on any job, “No Questions Asked.”
Our goal is clear. Make money and enjoy ourselves while we do it. We will take work from anyone, no questions asked, but won’t engage in outright piracy. But pirates can still get support from us as well as those within the law. All that matters is we make money for the betterment for our members and for StarCross.
- We are not pirates, but we won’t turn work away because someone is considered a ‘pirate.’
- We are willing to operate in the morally grey area, for the right price.
- We don’t actively engage in combat, but we will defend ourselves.
- We will take nearly any job, “No Questions Asked.”
