Manifesto

Mission Statement of the Saddleback Free Trade Coalition

Since the dawn of civilization clever, brave, men and women have found ways of moving crops, tools, weapons, and other valuables between wayward cities. Crossing dangerous frontiers, ensuring the good people of Mesopotamia and Ancient Rome obtained the supplies and resources they needed. Little has changed for trade since the discovery of jump-points except the means of delivery. The Saddleback Free Trade Coalition (S.F.T.C.) is mutual partnership made up of these very same clever, brave, men and women. Ensuring that necessary goods get to their destination no matter how dangerous, or risky the route. The void of space is as dangerous a frontier as they come. Sometimes even the cleverest and bravest men and women need assistance in the final frontier. The S.F.T.C. provides the assistance necessary for any trader to survive in this dangerous frontier by creating a common pact of defense. It’s a lonely life for a “legitimate” smugglers trader, and the S.F.T.C wishes to change that by creating a coalition among “legitimate” smugglers business men and women. United together in profit and defense. To interfere in the affairs of one member is to interfere with the entire organization. There are strength in numbers, and that is the principle of the S.F.T.C. Join up, insure your future business ventures, keep pirates afraid, keep the Advocacy off your back, and like an old Earth saying goes, “Let the Good Times Roll.”
