History

Red Leaf Trading Guild was founded in 2928 by merchants who aimed to offer top-notch goods and services across the galaxy. Initially a small trading company in the Terra system, they focused on local package deliveries, and items like food, construction materials, ice, merchandise, rare spices, fine wines, and exotic fabrics.

As their reputation for quality and reliability grew, so did their business. By 2935, they expanded their offerings to include a wide range of products, from weapons, ammo, and armor to medical supplies and scientific equipment. New offices and warehouses were opened in various systems, and partnerships with local suppliers and distributors were formed.

In 2940, the guild strategically expanded into ore trading and salvage operations. They acquired an Orion mining vessel, which allowed them to enter the mining industry, extracting and trading precious ores. This move not only broadened their product range but also solidified their standing in the galactic economy. Simultaneously, they purchased a Reclaimer salvage ship, enhancing their ability to recover valuable resources from derelict spacecraft and space debris. These acquisitions diversified their revenue streams and showcased their adaptability.

In 2945, the guild faced a significant challenge when the UEEN imposed a blockade on their primary trading route due to rumors of smuggling and piracy. The Red Leaf Trading Guild adapted by forming an alliance with a Banu Souli, opening new trade routes and accessing unique products previously untapped in their traditional networks

In 2947, after collaborating with a Banu Souli on a highly profitable trade agreement, the Banu gifted the Red Leaf Trading Guild a Banu Merchantman. This gesture symbolized their deepening friendship and partnership. The Banu Merchantman, renowned for its expansive cargo capacity and advanced trading capabilities, significantly enhanced the guild’s operational scope, marking a milestone in its interstellar commerce endeavors.

By 2952, recognizing the need to protect their assets and trade routes, the guild diversified further by acquiring an Idris frigate and a Drake Kraken carrier. This marked the formation of the Red Leaf Planetary Security Force (RLPSF), dedicated to safeguarding their interests. The Idris frigate, equipped for interstellar combat, and the Kraken carrier, with its fighter capacity and command capabilities, provided unparalleled strategic flexibility. RLPSF ensured the guild’s ability to respond swiftly to threats and protect its assets on both space and planetary levels.

During the latter part of 2953 and early 2954, the Red Leaf Trading Guild played a crucial role in aiding the Civilian Defence Force (CDF) in combating pirate gangs in the Stanton and Pyro systems. As a token of appreciation for their assistance, the CDF bestowed upon the guild an Anvil F8 Lightning and an F7A MkII Hornet. These fighters were integrated into the hangar rotation of the guild’s Idris frigate, enhancing its defensive capabilities and reinforcing the Red Leaf Planetary Security Force (RLPSF) for future missions.

In 2954, as Anvil retired the MK1 Hornet line, Red Leaf Trading Guild capitalized on an opportunity at a dealership auction, acquiring a MK1 Superhornet and a MK1 Recon Hornet at a bargain. These ships are now designated as training vessels for the Red Leaf Planetary Security Force (RLPSF) and will also serve as reserve ships for their Idris frigate. This strategic acquisition not only enhances the training capabilities of RLPSF but also strengthens their operational readiness.

In 2954, Red Leaf Trading Guild sold one of their aging Caterpillar freighters and a surplus UEE Terrapin to fund the commissioning of a new Polaris corvette. This significant upgrade aimed to bolster the capabilities of the Red Leaf Planetary Security Force (RLPSF), enhancing their fleet’s strength and versatility in protecting the guild’s interests across the galaxy.

The integration of RLPSF reinforced the guild’s commitment to adaptability and resilience, enabling them to face the ever-evolving galactic landscape. Members embraced their dual roles as traders and protectors, upholding values of excellence, integrity, and customer satisfaction.

Today, Red Leaf Trading Guild stands as a distinguished merchant organization in the galaxy. With a strong presence in the Terra system and beyond, they continue to expand their network and partnerships, offering a wide range of products and services to cater to diverse customer needs. Their long and illustrious history is a testament to their commitment to excellence and their influential role in interstellar commerce and security.
