History
The old syndicate was dying. Tohka and Demonager could see it in every aspect of the organization. Recruitment, funding, and power all had taken a slow and steady drain over time. The two attempted to internally change things through discussion and politics. After all, familia ante omnia (Family before everything). The heads of the organization refused to listen to reason. The old syndicate leaders began to damage the two’s reputation and eventually managed to take some position from the two. These efforts only infuriated and pushed them even harder.
Tohka and Demonager broke with the family they had been loyal to a fault with for so long. They wouldn’t stand aside while the family died because of inefficient and decrepit traditions. They began engaging in drug smuggling, political bribes, and so much more in new ways which used the best technology and human depravity could offer. This led what would become the Pyke Syndicate to rapidly grow. New members and even members of the old syndicate were being recruited left and right. An outright war would pursue that was so bad UEE had to get involved.
The UEE sent in military and police forces to quill what looked like an internal planetary rebellion on it’s surface. The Pyke Syndicate knowing all the right strings to pull managed to use these forces to oust the old leaders and even those still loyal to the old syndicate. After that the group waited and bided its time. When the forces began to leave the syndicate began a mission to regain control in the vacuum left. The forces left to maintain the area eventually succumbed to bribes and threats. Those that refused found themselves at the bottom of deep caverns or lakes where no one would ever find them. Now in full control of their planet the planetary syndicate looks to the stars…
Manifesto
We are always loyal to the family and what’s best to grow the family. We do this in the following ways.
1. Familia ante omnia.
Family before Everything is meant to guide our organization by creating deep bonds and helpful teammates that make the game fun and also ensure that we grow in multiple domains. No one wants to join an organization that doesn’t help them or takes advantage of them.
2. We always keep our words.
When others know your threats or promises of safety are good they comply. Complicity is power and power is money.
3. Piracy is bad for business
Piracy attracts too much attention from the law for us to engage in it… unless it is against another competing syndicate and then all gloves are off. We specifically love and hate griefers. We love them because it gives us a PVP target and hate them because they ruin the game for people and also cause our trade partners to fail to deliver our goods. Whats good for the goose is good for the gander.
