2875 – Proteus Group is founded during the initial stages of the Chronos System Synthworld. It is originally a shipping company managed by SI Industries.
2883 – Resource Acquisition division is formed to in-source mining operations Dracip Inc. is merged into the partnership to add capital and human assets
2884 – Proteus Group Exploration Division is formed to seek out new mineral sources for the ever increasing demand of the Synthworld project. X-Core member corporation is made a partner.
2884 – After a major increase of pirate activity in certain areas of space Proteus Group seeks out another partnership for security eventually bringing in the Lo Security Firm as a contractor.
2892 – Lo Security becomes a Partner corporation. Along with the above partners they form the Core4 – the executive partnerships managing each division of
2910 – Expansion into research and development and manufacturing fields. Increasing investment in Exploration. Profit margins peak as the government pours more money into all aspects of the project.
2925 – Proteus Group’s operations in the Chronos System become less and less profitable. The partnership suffers losses due to bad press in the system and increasing government scrutiny of costs.
2926 – In order to avoid bankruptcy Proteus Executive members decide to close Manufacturing and reduce R&D budget.
2928 – Expansion of Resource and Exploration outside the Chronos System. Partners agree to slower sustained growth compared to the haphazard pursuits in Chronos of the late 29th and early 30th Centuries.
