P.O.L.A.R.I.S / PONDER

From the First Tevarin War, to heroic stand of 2nd Fleet at Vega II and beyond, the interface systems known as ‘hologlobes’ have played a vital role in assisting courageous Captains and calculating Admirals. From acting as massive radar suites to whole fleet command instruments, the hologlobes have been found primarily on capital-size warships. Although with developing civilian capital ship ownership, these iconic pieces found their way to expeditionary crafts and industrial behemoths as well.

Eventually operating the hologlobes started to be referred as ‘Pondering the Orb’ amongst expeditionaries, frontier militias and various pirate-aligned capital ship crews as a running gag, for reasons unknown.

One day, several great minds that thought alike came together, to form P.O.L.A.R.I.S. What was a running gag between brethen-at-arms and/or profits, became the symbol of adoring fans of various capital ships that roam known space, for equally mysterious reasons.
