Like the North Star, Polaris, used by many early Earth explorers as a guide to navigate and traverse, our Order seeks to illuminate the path to a brighter future for Order members, by any means necessary.

History

Formed by a collective group that materialized to neutralize a common objective, The Order was created through an environment of team-play and shared objectives. The initial Polaris members banded together to fight organized players over the reworked Jumptown event, successfully neutralizing targets and holding the space to secure the mission objectives.

Since then, the Order has expanded into all aspects of the game, including combat both air and ground based, logistics, mining, salvage, and occasional bandit/outlaw gameplay.

Manifesto

Manifesto

The so called leaders of the United Empire of Earth (UEE), elect be they or chosen, have shown us in the last few decades their inability to lead humanity into the golden age of prosperity they promised; an age befit of the perilous explorers, the unforgettable sacrifice of brave men and women, and of the pioneers who sought to expand humanity into a new dawn. Like the North Star, Polaris, used by many early Earth explorers as a guide to navigate and traverse, our Order seeks to illuminate the path to a brighter future away from tyranny, corruption, and the oppression of the common man.

Goals

  1. Maintaining a self-sufficient, cohesive unit capable of wide-scale operations.
  2. Establishing a highly efficient mode of operations, whether for dispatching ground/air units or lucrative trading/logistical and mining efforts.
  3. Creating and archiving a base of knowledge for Order members holding key resources for personal and organizational growth.
  4. Providing support for members of the Order wherever they may be, whatever their circumstance.

Charter

Charter

  1. The Order does not seek to instill chaos nor hatred in the ecosystem of human-alien politics.
  2. The Order acts as a self-regulating, independent consortium of members, only acting towards the benefits of the Order, or its aforementioned goals.
  3. The Board of the Five collectively votes on the status of new members.
  4. Members of the Order may leave the Order at any time, and will be welcomed to reapply for entry at any time.
  5. The Order treasury is a standalone fund where Order members can support the needs of the Order on a voluntary basis. All treasury transactions must be approved by the Board of the Five.

Joining process

  1. Potential Members of the Order start as Prospects, and after a trial period of 7-14 days will be voted on by the Leadership Council

  3. Every weekend the Council votes on new Prospects who have completed their trial period
  4. Once a Prospect obtains a majority vote, they will be promoted to a Member
  5. Members can choose which division to fall under, setting a primary division, and as many secondary divisions as they wish
  6. Members of all ranks can be kicked from the Order for extraordinary circumstances as per the initiation of the Arbiter, who must obtain a majority vote in the Council to remove a member from the Order; Members removed this way are not permitted to rejoin the Order in the future
