Welcome to Nova Rōnin
We are a group of active players who often engage in multiple roles. As a freelancer collective we aim to provide a place for solo players to find other crew in times of need. New players are welcome and veterans are encouraged to guide these players so they can hold their own.

History

Nova Rōnin was founded as a means to bring independent pilots together. We still keep close ties to solo gameplay, but offer a community for those players to crew up on one off adventures. We encourage new players to learn from the more experienced pilots, in hopes they too can one day hold their own as a solo pilot. We dabble in a little of everything, often our members enjoy multiple career paths. Grow your skill sets and have some fun as part of a Freelancer Collective.

The Nova Rōnin org is named after the “Terra Nova” star in the Terra system. We offer connections to skilled pilots who can help guide and train one of the largest and wealthiest human populations in the UEE. Rōnin pays homage to the ancient Japanese warriors of Earth, often a masterless samurai labeled as a ‘drifter’ or ‘wanderer’. While a more direct translation might be ‘person of the waves’, our interpretation of this – we flow where needed. Often peaceful and tranquil – we enjoy drifting, but create waves when grouped together.

Manifesto

Five Pillars of the Modern RōNIN

  1. - Study
    Study your trade before putting reputation on the line. Learn from veterans and always strive to improve.
  2. - Sleuth
    Investigate the details of every contract. Threats can come in many forms, along with the rewards for detecting them ahead of time.
  3. - Subdue
    Subdue targets according to your contracts needs. If you are uncomfortable with the capture method of the contract, investigate those details before accepting.
  4. - Synergize
    When teaming up, work with your fellow Rōnin to complete a contract. We might be freelancers but we all reap the rewards for maintaining an excellent reputation.
  5. - Support
    You work for the contractor and your fellow Rōnin, complete the mission utilizing each of your crews individual skill sets. Help each other perform better, even a good solo player can boost the overall reputation of our collective.
