Overview

Nova Abyss was instituted in 2952 as an effort to unite citizens of the verse.
In the organization, you will be able to take part in a wide range of activities that you enjoy through one
of our five branches catering to different styles of gameplay: Nova Defence, Nova Frontier,
Nova Core, Nova Relief, and Nova Skyline. These diverse branches allow you to explore, mine, salvage, race, trade, protect, and much more.

Why join Nova Abyss?

Becoming a member of Nova Abyss will allow you to participate in any of our many events and
operations as well as provide you a safe environment to explore the verse. You will also be granted
access to our extensive fleet of spaceships. Do you need a fighter to escort you on a trade route? Perhaps you need a Prospector or a M.O.L.E. to mine those precious minerals you just found by exploring a new planet? Fret not, we have plenty of ships available for you to use!

In Nova Abyss you will find operations to participate in on a near daily basis. An operation is an event that is designed to make org members aUEC, such as escorting a payload or going on a mining venture. All operations are optional, so feel free to join in the ones that pique your interest. All of Nova Abyss’s branches actively create operations, each with a plethora of Nova Teams that allow to enjoy your experience along a group of likeminded individuals.

Depending on the activity conducted the profit will be shared accordingly. Nova Abyss ensures that the profit you make is higher than if you were to do the same activity alone.

Branches

Nova Defence

The sword and shield of Nova Abyss, tasked with the protection of all the members and assets of the org. They are our first and last line of defence; as their duties consist of protecting and upholding the law in times of peace and to crush the enemies of Nova Abyss when called upon.

Nova Core

Nova Core is the branch that deals with all things financial. This branch sheds light to industrial assets and entrepreneurship; consisting of trade, shipping, and manufacturing. Dedicated to increasing the overall productivity of Nova Abyss, the Nova Core is an extremely valuable branch.

Nova Frontier

It takes a strong will to risk everything for the chance to experience something truly special, to see the beauty in stark otherworldly vistas previously unseen by human eyes. Nova Frontier’s goal is to explore the verse in search of useful data and locations.

Nova Relief

Nova Relief is a branch dedicated to all things medical; which can include supporting the Nova Defence Branch on ops, engaging in large scale humanitarian campaigns, or rescuing stranded citizens lost in our vast galaxy.

Nova Skyline

Nova Skyline is all about style. From inter-planetary tours aboard its vast fleet of Origin VIP passenger vessels to chartered flights when getting there is more important than how you get there, this branch houses social events, entertainment, and expositions.

Q: How do I join?

A: You can join by pressing the Join us now! button on the top right of the page.

Q: Should I join as a member or as an affiliate?

A: Upon joining Nova Abyss, please set yourself as a Member, not an Affiliate. Currently our org does
not accept any new Affiliates.

Q: Nova Abyss has 5 Branches to choose from, can I be part of more than one?

A: Absolutely! Every member is part of Nova Abyss as a whole. This means you can participate in
activities from every branch whenever you want; only Fleet Admirals are assigned one specific
branch to focus on.

Q: What does Nova Abyss being a lawful organization mean?

A: It means that our org does not condone or engage within any random grieving activities. Smuggling and piracy operations are allowed however, as they do not involve killing or injuring other citizens.

Q: What time zone does Nova Abyss operate in?

A: Nova Abyss is active in nearly every time zone, but most activities are based in Eastern Standard Time. Although we have members from all around the world, our vast majority of members are from US or EU time zones.

Q: Does NOVA accept role play?

A: We have nothing against role play. Due to popular demand we have created text and voice channels dedicated to role play activity. Any member is free to join these channels and stay in character.
