History
EXTENDED HISTORY In the aftermath of the Second Tevarin War, the galaxy was left reeling from the extensive devastation. This conflict, which spanned from 2603 to 2610, culminated in the tragic and symbolic destruction of the Tevarin fleet over their homeworld, Elysium IV (formerly Kaleeth), marking a significant turning point in galactic history. Amidst the debris and shattered remnants of once-great civilizations, a glimmer of hope emerged in the form of NSI – Nomas Stratus Interstellar®.
Founded on January 1, 2951, NSI was born amidst the chaos of the conflict, envisioned by a group of visionary commanders within the United Empire of Earth Navy (UEEN). The pivotal moment in NSI’s genesis occurred during the Battle for the Kaleeth, a critical engagement where the UEEN struck deep into Tevarin territory. In the heart of the Tevarin formation, a group of yet-unknown commanders within the UEEN made the ultimate sacrifice. Their actions were pivotal in turning the tide of the conflict. From the wreckage and loss, NSI was conceived, symbolizing resilience and the enduring human spirit.Under the initial leadership of these valiant commanders, NSI began its journey with a vision of unity, exploration, and progress. However, the path ahead was fraught with challenges. NSI faced its first major setback due to a contractor failure that hindered its military presence. Despite their best efforts, the organization faltered, and its dreams seemed dashed against the harsh realities of interstellar politics and conflict.
Yet, adversity bred opportunity. In late 2953, NSI was reborn under new leadership, with a renewed sense of purpose and determination. Sevil, drawing upon his expertise and exposure from working for Shubin Interstellar, founded a specialized branch within NSI dedicated to advancing medical research and providing aid across the galaxy. Meanwhile, Tyra, leveraging their experience and training from their service within the UEEN, established the Pathfinders, a professional and highly capable security force tasked with safeguarding NSI’s interests and ensuring the safety of its members.
With Sevil and Tyra at the helm, NSI embarked on a new chapter of growth and expansion. The organization quickly made strides in various sectors, including paramilitary operations, medical research, and exploration. Their reputation for excellence and reliability garnered the attention of contract holders seeking their specialized services, leading to a surge in recruitment and interest in NSI’s offerings.
Despite the trials and tribulations they faced, NSI remained steadfast in its commitment to forging a brighter future for humanity among the stars. Guided by principles of courage, resilience, and solidarity, NSI continued to confront challenges head-on, ever vigilant and ready to overcome obstacles on their journey towards greatness.

Politics may be discussed but any discussion is to be civil, failure to abide by this rule will result in disciplinary action up to and including a Permanent Ban.
Mods reserve the right to kick or mute any user from a voice or text channel in response to a violation of any of the above rules. If anyone believes there has been an abuse of power in relation to this or any other rule please feel free to message myself or another owner, one of the Joint Chiefs, or a Cabinet Member.

NSI Leadership reserves the right to modify, add, or otherwise revise any of the above rules without warning or discussion.
Violation of any one of these rules will typically result in a verbal warning, before either a mute or a formal warning is issued (depending on the severity and judgement of the staff member).
Accumulating three chat warnings within 3 months will result in an indefinite ban. Bans can be appealed after 6 months.
Staff reserve the right to take appropriate action for behavior or actions deemed unacceptable for the server and community, even if such behavior is not explicitly against the server rules as written.
