History

Founding

In the year 2542, during the First Teravin War, New Bacchus Trading started its life as New Bacchus PMC providing pilots and boots to the UEE when and where they were needed. While they weren’t called on for much, mainly cargo runs and protection details, what missions they were given were completed with the utmost of accuracy.

After the end of the Second Teravi War, a little over 60 years later, New Bacchus PMC sold most of it’s combat specialized ships and bought several Drake and MISC cargo vessels and changed its name to New Bacchus Trading. Many speculate why NBT switched from a mercenary force to a cargo running operation, but that secret is known only to the leadership of NBT.

2847 Tohil Regatta

New Bacchus Trading’s race vehicle was happily in fifth place when the radio call from Captain Iggy Decarlo rang out. The small fleet watching from orbit immediately dumped their cargo as the escort fighters, turret gunners, and copilots exited their vehicles to gather the cargo together. The many cargo ships spooled their quantum drives and jumped to Amidon Island to find it sinking into the water. The fleetmaster started to bark out orders when Iggy’s voice interrupted him, guiding the fleet into the city to rescue stranded civilians.

Manifesto

You got a job, we can do it, don’t much care what it is. As long as you have the credits, we’ll get it there.

Charter

Tenets

  1. Don’t ask about the details of the job.
  2. If your ship has the cargo, engage as a last resort, that’s what the fighters are for.
  3. Protect the cargo, at all costs.

Behavior

  1. Respect the client, until they give you reason not to.
  2. If you find out what the delivery is and don’t agree with it, either dump the cargo or return to sender. Don’t complete a job that will make you question yourself.
  3. Help fellow pilots when able. A stranded pilot today can be a valuable asset tomorrow.
