History

Originally founded in 2793 the Navona Underground was created to move the violence of the Messer Era to a more controlled arena, while still allowing citizens to express their desire for violence. Although the public display of Combat to the Death is longer legal in the UEE, the Navona Underground continues to operate daily fights at their various Stadiums throughout the Verse.

The Navona Underground began with Draygar Rabirius. Draygar was a freelancer who made his wealth exploiting government contracts, by using his connection to the Messer family. Draygar was known to host lavish parties for the entertainment of the rich and powerful where civilians would be forced to fight in hand to hand combat to the death. His love for this style of combat came from his studies of the Vanduul and their never ending desire for perfection of hand to hand combat, including that of knives. Following the fall of the Messer Empire, Draygar took his simple idea and opened it up to all civilians and citizens to use freely as an outlet for violence following the ousting of the Messers. The modern fights allow for bladed weapons of any type to be used, but use of any ballistic or energy weapons is strictly prohibited.

Starting with the original Khanos II Stadium on Angeli in the Croshaw system, Navona Underground began to grow. Supporting many factions across all systems, it is common place to find a Navona Underground in any system you may find yourself. Today the organization is not affiliated with any group, or political party, or government. It operates solely as a venue for entertainment for any and all civilians and citizens. The stadiums up keep and improvements are funded through the business side of the Organization. This operation has two sides to it. The first provides luxury history tours throughout the verse from highly skilled pilots with extensive knowledge of Human history in the Verse. The second buys and sells handheld weaponry of the uncommon and rare variety. This business branch of the Navona Underground was started by Konecheck in the year 2943 following his first five years with the Organization. He saw it as a way for the Navona Underground to connect to its founders interests, while beginning to serve the people of the verse in more ways than death. Following on the success of the Navona Underground History Tours and Navona Underground Grand Exchange, Konecheck would be voted CEO by all members in the year 2951.

Manifesto

The Navona Underground is a place for members to express their desire for violence in a controlled and safe arena. Founded in 2793 by Draygar Rabirius, the organization has grown to include Stadiums in various systems throughout the Star Citizen universe. The Navona Underground is not affiliated with any political party or government, and operates solely as a venue for entertainment for all civilians and citizens.

The Navona Underground has a charter that outlines the rights and privileges of its members. This includes free entry and use of all Stadiums, the requirement to provide help to others when visiting a Stadium, and the punishment for members who commit crimes on Navona Underground property. The charter also includes provisions for members who need ships, and those who are willing to rent their ships to the Navona Underground.

In addition to the Stadiums, the Navona Underground also operates two business ventures. The first is a luxury history tour service, led by skilled pilots with extensive knowledge of the verse. The second is the Navona Underground Grand Exchange, where members can buy and sell rare and uncommon handheld weaponry.

Under the leadership of Konecheck, who was voted CEO by all members in 2951, the Navona Underground continues to thrive as a place for members to express their desire for violence in a controlled environment.
