History

NASA was founded in 1958 with the goal of peaceful space exploration, discovery, and colonization. Emphasizing the importance of a better understanding of both natural and unnatural phenomena, NASA has always worked towards expanding humanity’s command of astrophysics through practical application of advanced technology and engineering excellence.

NASA today strives towards applying the technologies of today to discover the worlds of tomorrow.

Manifesto

Peaceful exploration and discovery, a keystone throughout the long history of NASA, continues to be the primary directive of the organization today. At every step, NASA works towards building a better tomorrow by exploring the unknown, as well as uncovering more about the extant.

Though NASA puts critical emphasis on peaceful action, there are those that may intend to harness discoveries for their personal gain, requiring effective defensive tactics and technology.

Charter

Members of NASA shall act with the best interests of the organization and uphold its traditions, goals, and directions.

Goals and directives:
  1. Acting honestly and forthrightly
  2. Exploration of the unknown
  3. Improving knowledge of existing phenomena
  4. Acting with peace unless dire circumstances require defensive or offensive action
