A Misfit Org at its Core
The Misfit collective is set up to be a nontraditional org in the sense that the common goal is to find people to have fun and make friends in the star citizen community.
History
The Dream Started in the late 2000s to play a Large Space game with hundreds of people making memories and having some great laughs along the way. Star Citizen realized that dream and made it a reality. With that, the Misfit collective was created to meet more people in the verse to make those memories and have people to play the group events with.
In The Misfit Collective, you will be able to play with a range of players, take part in a wide range of activities. With the Missfit Collective, we are not set on one task as an Org but we are able to do many things together, like Mining, Bounty Hunting, Trading as well as the events like the upcoming Jumptown 2.0 or XenoThreat.
Why Join The Missfit Collective?
Becoming a Misfit you will meet some great people so you don’t have to be alone in this verse. Play with people you have never played with before or even get better and learn from some veteran players. You will find people to play with on a daily basis and create friends along the way since The Misfit Collective is more focused on the community than being an Org we do not care if you have yourself as an affiliate or member since we are all here to meet people and play with then in the verse.

A Great Community: By joining The Missfit Collective you will be joining a community from around the world who have a passion for Star Citizen. All these members are here to make memories and help each other while having fun in the process
Better Multi-Crew Experiences With having so many people to play Star Citizen with running Ships like The Mole for mining or A Hammerhead for Bounty missions will become a breeze and getting people to spend that time within those multi-crew ships will be more entertaining.

Manifesto
The purpose of The Missfit collective is to allow all of its members to have fun and enjoy the Verse
with a great community of like-minded individuals.
The Misfit Collective will as a whole remain will remain vigilant against pirates and griefers. We desire to preserve the experience that Star Citizen has to offer to allow the Star Citizen community to grow and explore the vast universe that Star Citizen has to offer.
Since The Missfit Collective is a community more so than a conventional Org we do not expect you to take part in any group play that may be planned for the future when the community grows. These will be clearly stated in the “Events” section of the discord where we as a community may take part in an event or maybe even set up a test to push the servers or game functions to their limits Since this is an Alpha after all.
Charter
Player Rules
The Misfit Collective prefers that you are 18 years old or older. This ensures that members don’t have to worry about what they are talking about or are saying.
Members must not grief any other players.
Members must not intentionally upset other members.
Members should be at least 18 years old. Some exceptions may apply.
Ranks
- Admin: These will be the orgs leaders enforcing rules and changing the ranks of members when needed. They will also help create events for the members to play and join. Denoted by 5 stars
- Moderator: Admins in training, they will report to the admins and work with them when settings up events. Denoted by 4 stars
- Enforcer: Veteran players within the Misfit Collective that show initiative in helping other players learn the game as well as helping the community grow. Denoted by 3 stars
- Specialist: These players show promise in the Org in helping players as well as being active in the org Denoted by 2 stars
- Misfit: This rank will be given to you soon after joining The Misfit Collective, You will have Opportunities to rank up by being active in the discord and playing with other members, as well as taking part in community events. Denoted by 1 star
- Recruit: The initial rank given to new members, please make sure to accept the rules on Discord and you will be promoted to a Misfit. Denoted by 0 stars
