“Millennium Corporation has been in the business of merchant services and security for decades, and is the industry leader in reliability and affordability. Many corporate entities that have the same goal in mind will have experience of their own, which is to be expected, however they have likely not had or dealt with enormous networks of independent contractors operating under a single name. The biggest difference between us and the next shipping and securities company is we leave our operators to do as they please and don’t confine them to a rigid doctrine. This in itself has helped us become as prominent and renowned as we are. It lets the operator complete a contract as they see fit, provided they complete it within the guidelines provided by the person or entity that posted the contract. All of our contractors are vetted and checked against criminal behavior and records so we can guarantee the best possible experience for anyone that uses our services.

Shipping is but one aspect of our expansive company. Providing security is second only to merchant services, and we offer various types of security ranging from acting as an escrow service for high value items, safeguarding a valuable trophy a customer might have, or providing pilots, with ex-military background, and ships for everything from guarding a simple exploration expedition or escorting a merchant convoy across dangerous trade lanes. Those of you looking to secure security contracts, we are currently investigating providing superior insurance over the standard coverages most insurance plans provide. We aim to ensure your peace of mind so you will never have to worry about making that long trek through the lawless outer systems.

Millennium Corporation’s history an incredible story of how two men became some of the most powerful and well respected individuals in the galaxy. Generally, businesses grow at a fairly predictable rate, with a few going outside of the box or getting a smash hit that propels them to extraordinary heights. Millennium Corporation started out in a far different way than most companies though and its interesting approach to business has proven to be not just successful, but prospers in times it seems it shouldn’t.

When Millennium Corporation was first founded many years ago, it did so to provide a service that was not found in many places of the galaxy, comprehensive merchant services. Armed with only two ships at their disposal, these two men managed to make a name for themselves by assisting starships in need and provide the single most reliable small time shipping company in the industry. For several years, our two founders, managed their growing little empire by themselves and made Millennium Corporation a name to be welcomed and recognized by fellow cosmonauts with no additional staff to assist them.

Unfortunately, about ten years ago, just when they were about to purchase an office location and hire additional staff to expand, a pirate group managed to hijack their ships and held them up for their already considerable fortunes. Suffering three years of intense and brutal living as their prisoners, they finally had salvation by the hands of a UEE strike team who were tasked with destroying the pirate group, which had just assassinated one of the UEE’s high ranking military officials. The two founders were taken back to civilized space where they decided right then and there to join the UEE military to apply some revenge on pirate groups that infringed upon the rights of civilians.

With sterling records and honorable discharges, our founders went back to start their company back up only to find that other pilots had continued their business for them. The founders were quickly made to be the executives of a now sprawling business of merchant services and assistance, which they wasted no time in establishing charters and organizing their new found employees into groups. The founders also made one of the most unheard of decisions at that time, no one was an employee. Instead they were contractors that could enjoy the freedom of not being bossed around by a behemoth of a corporation, which was met with skepticism and doubt, but it was hugely successful.

Shortly after making these changes to the structure of the company, the founders also formed a security division whose purpose is akin to PMC groups but with a twist. The security division did provide first rate ex-navy pilots the founders met on their tours of duty, but it also consisted of banking, storage of high valuable property, and escrow services. Their security service grew rapidly in both size and notoriety, but it was known as one of the most fair and reasonable groups in operation at the time. PMC’s and security companies had been getting a bad reputation at the time for being overly ruthless and rude to their customers, and their actions bordered on piracy which often put them in the crosshairs of UEE Law Enforcement.

Millennium Corporation then announced its officialization of their starship assistance service and dubbed it “Millennium Care”. A full list of services provided by Millennium Care is available on the manifesto. With the launch of Millennium Care, the founders decided to expand their company once more into new avenues of business, but not as aggressively as they had been with security and merchant services. Mining and public/personal transportation quickly became additional revenue streams, followed shortly by providing storage spaces for deep space mining and exploration teams, as well as forming exploration and scientific exploration teams of their own.

The storage service was the first to generate vast profits by simply offering large mining operations a storage space they could use to store large quantities of goods. Millennium Corporation sent our ships to collect the materials to be stored and had a constant cycle of running ships back and forth to these massive operations so the ships could continue mining uninterrupted, and know their goods are secure. Public and personal transportation was not as profitable or successful as Millennium Corporation originally believed, but with advances in technology and charting of the galaxy makes them believe it will eventually generate great wealth.

Today, Millennium Corporation has become a giant of industry with many extremely profitable enterprises available, but is lacking in one area. Alliances. Millennium Corporation used to have large networks of allies and partners, but because of strict crackdowns on monopolies, Millennium Corporation has lost contact with most of its previous partnerships and alliances. Because of this, Millennium Corporation is attempting to strike new deals with new people all the time. It has also caused the founders to want the corporation to be public. Up until now, there was no way to get involved with Millennium Corporation unless you were approached by them, but now this has all changed and encourages potential employees and alliance members to contact us and become a part of one of the greatest corporate entities to exist in the galaxy.

Manifesto

Millennium Corporation offers a wide range of potential employment opportunities and services for hire. While our security and merchant services are our most prominent and well known, we also offer the following:

Not everyone that signs up as a contractor for Millennium Corporation needs to also claim things such as personal starships to be used on contracts. It is perfectly acceptable for people to sign up and be placed with other crew members to operate a ship piloted by an ex-military veteran. Ship occupancy does vary however depending on the type of contract you sign up for. Expect security contracts to have more crew on board than a shipping contract. Contractors that sign up as crew are an extremely valuable resource to both the pilots that enjoy their assistance, and to the Millennium Corporation for expediting contracts. If you are interested in becoming a contractor, be sure to specify if you wish to be a crew member, want to volunteer your ship to be used in contracts you take up, or both.

The Millennium Corporation would not be where it is today if we didn’t have solid alliances with other corporate entities in our industry, however due to legal issues, we have been forced to cut all ties with previous associates so they do not tarnish our sterling reputation. Due to this change, we are eager to rebuild our network of trusted partners and welcome anyone that wishes to ally themselves with us.

Millennium Care

Millennium Care is a starship assistance service that is available for any and all to become a member for. Price is still TBD as the service is still under development to ensure the best possible customer experience.

We will have several types of memberships available: Standard, Business, Merchant, Premiere, and First Class.

A Standard Member of Millennium Care is provided with up to three(3) emergency assistance calls per payment cycle. Emergency services provided for Standard Members:

Battery recharge and testing
Refueling
Starship towing to nearest mechanic and transportation to mechanic location (maximum distance TBD)

Along with with above services, Standard Members are given discounts on service for each referral that signs up for any membership package. Unused services do not rollover to the next payment cycle.

A Business Membership is close in resemblance to the Standard Membership, with one difference, it can be applied up to four(4) additional people. They can be friends, family, employees, or some random person you want to cover with Millennium Care. It can also be combined with other membership packages to get multiple people covered for a specified plan. Business Members are not given a specific allotment of emergency service requests as it depends on which plan it is combined with. You may choose to simple take a Business Membership as it is and the default amount of service requests per payment cycle is three(3). Emergency services provided for Business Members:

Battery recharge and testing
Refueling
Starship towing to nearest mechanic and transportation to mechanic location (maximum distance TBD)
Can be combined with any other Membership

A Merchant Member of Millennium Care is provided with a much more comprehensive plan than Standard of Business memberships. Merchant Members will get more service calls per payment cycle than Standard of Business, but also enjoy more premium services such as recovery and transport of cargo. Merchant Memberships are one of the most common we provide and is highly recommended for anyone that is in the business of mining operations, shipping, trading, transportation of goods, and any ship that carries a crew compliment of up to 10 crew. Merchant Members receive up to five(5) emergency assistance calls per payment cycle and one(1) security assistance request every two(2) payment cycles. Emergency services provided for Merchant Members:

Battery recharge and testing
Refueling
Starship towing to nearest mechanic and transportation to mechanic location (maximum distance TBD)
Recovery and transportation of all recoverable goods to a storage facility. All goods will be transferred to your ownership when you arrive to pick them up. All goods transferred will be available in an “AS IS” format. Millennium Care is not responsible for any damages to any goods or personal property that we retain in our storage facility.
Can call for security assistance once every two payment cycles from Millennium Corporation Security

Premiere Memberships are for those of you that want a more premium feel to your Millennium Care membership. Premiere and Executive Members are invited to Millennium Corporation sponsored events and receive discounts on services purchased with Millennium Corporation. Premiere Members are also allowed one loaner starship if their ship is rendered inoperable and has to be put in the shop to be repaired. Premiere Members enjoy six(6) service calls per payment cycle and one(1) security assistance call per payment cycle. Premiere Memberships include the following benefits:

Battery recharge and testing
Refueling
Starship towing to a Certified Millennium Care mechanic (maximum distance TBD)
Recovery and transportation of all recoverable goods to a storage facility. All goods will be transferred to your ownership when you arrive to pick them up. All goods transferred will be available in an “AS IS” format. Millennium Care is not responsible for any damages to any goods or personal property that we retain in our storage facility.
Can call for security assistance oncepayment cycles from Millennium Corporation Security
One loaner starship per six(6) payment cycles should the member’s ship require repair
Invitation to certain Millennium Corporation functions and events

First Class Memberships are the best of the best we offer. First Class Members get to enjoy luxury while their starship is serviced in one of our executive yachts. Any repairs done to your ship will be done by one of our finest mechanics we have for our our board members and directors. Parts will be replaced at no additional cost to you so you can have the peace of mind that your ship is getting complete and total care. First Class Members receive eight(8) service calls per payment cycle, two(2) security assistance requests per cycle, and an upgrade loaner starship in case of your ship being inoperable. First Class Members receive the following benefits:

Battery recharge and testing with battery replacement if required
Refueling
Starship towing to one of our Executive Millennium Care mechanic (maximum distance TBD)
Recovery and transportation of all recoverable goods to a storage facility. All goods will be transferred to your ownership when you arrive to pick them up. All goods transferred will be available in an “AS IS” format. Millennium Care is not responsible for any damages to any goods or personal property that we retain in our storage facility.
Can call for security assistance twice per payment cycles from Millennium Corporation Security
One upgraded loaner starship per three(3) payment cycles should the member’s ship require repair. Repaired starship will be delivered to you.
Invitation to all Millennium Corporation functions and events

Charter

Millennium Corporate Rules of Conduct:

A contract is a contract. It must be completed no matter the cost. If you pick up a contract, you must be able to promptly complete the contract, unless the poster has requested specific delivery times. If you are unable to fulfill a contract, you will be terminated from employment immediately.

Payment is distributed after a contract is completed. Payment is equal to each member of your crew. Any crew that exceed the maximum crew occupancy of a ship will not receive payment and it will be up to the captain to decide how it is split.

Contractors are not insured until they have completed 3 deliveries, after which they will be included on the corporate insurance plan, if available.

Contractors may have additional crew on their ships for security or merchant services. The amount of crew you have on your ship at the time of accepting your contract determines which contracts you are eligible for. This means a Constellation with a 4 man crew CANNOT take a job that would only take an Aurora to complete. However, there are workarounds such as accepting multiple contracts at once that will fill your cargo hold.

If a contract is not completed in a reasonable amount of time, half of the payment will be returned to the employer. If the contract gets cancelled due to death of contractor, loss of cargo, interstellar phenomena, piracy, or any other event that results in the contract not being completed will result in a full refund to the employer plus an additional ten percent and reimbursement of all goods lost. If the employer is the cause of the delay or cancellation of contract, all payments and goods will be retained by the Millennium Corporation and the employer and his lineage will no longer enjoy the services of the Millennium Corporation.

Security services that result in the loss of employer property will be reimbursed to the employer by no more than fifty percent of the original payment. Should the security contract entail holding a specified area of space for a designated length of time and the contract is unfulfilled, the employer only has the right to get a refund up to, but not exceeding ten percent of the original contract payment.

Millennium Corporation takes no responsibility for all losses, damages, or otherwise contractual failure executed by any allied partners.
