History
MercStar is a MechWarrior Online unit originally formed when 7 different competitive PvP units combined as a single Mercenary unit with 7 independent branches of leadership working together in preparation of the much anticipated release ‘Community Warfare’.
The results of that preparation were ‘Impressive’:

Our initial 150+ man roster has grown to over 300+ in size since our creation, and have branched out across many other games. We strive to bring our Mercenary Values into the Star Citizen Universe.

- In need of repair after enforcing a ‘right of passage’ fee, Arrr matey…we’ll fix you up.
- Want to maximize profits on your mining claim, we can do that for you too.
- Have the ‘special someone’ that needs to be ‘loved…to death’, we will shower them with ‘affection’.
- Need to move product though unsafe space, we will ensure that all ‘rights of passage’ fees are paid and your cargo is safely delivered.

Charter
We have tried to ensure that once Star Citizen is ready, our unit is ready, to make a smooth transition into the verse. The thought process is most of the single seat escorts ships will be provided by our unit members who need only provide a package that includes a single seat ship (to keep initial investment cost low, but still give our members access to the ships that come with ‘high dollar’ pledges).
Our staff will fill any gaps in crew assignments with mercenary minded backers who can demonstrate the ability to min/max, be the ‘killer of killers’, play to win as a team, in a PvP environment skill sets.
