History

After retiring from the military the two brothers, Aldis and John Castle, found their skills to be of service in the private sector. Seeing the corruption, mismanagement and waste the two brothers struck out on their own. The idea was to show the galaxy how honest hard work looked when tempered with practical experience, skill and dedication. Putting their skills to use the Castle brothers have been making a name for themselves and the company as a no nonsense organization that gets the job done. IWC operators have seen combat in multiple different fields. Proving themselves to be proficient in stealth based logistic and loss prevention.

Proprietors – A brief History

After the tragic death of John’s parents the Castle family adopted him. The two boys grew up together and after coming of age both joined the UEE Navy. Shortly after basic training the two brothers found they had proficiencies in unique areas. John, a pilot and logistic master mind and Aldis a strategist and ground based combat operator. Together, the two brother’s unique skill sets have allow them to take and complete jobs that most cannot. Growing up hearing about the work of the Iron Wing. The Castle brothers dove head long into revitalizing the formerly dormant PMC Iron Wing Corporation.

Iron Wing History- Summation and highlights

The Iron Wing; a task force set out to investigate the nature of the Xi’an.

Originally established [2531] to investigate the intentions of the Xi’an during the “cold war” with the Xi’an. Wing Commander William Castle and ace pilot Edric Castle were assigned to the fledgling unit to move into black operation and espionage.

Edric was better known for his shadow maneuver: A technique of dropping thrusters and lowering his ship signature in a split second while flying through asteroid belts. He perished while on mission deep in Xi’an space. These facts were not known until recently due to the sensitive nature of the mission at the time.

IronWing history is redacted and/or unknown during this time frame. Some speculate that the Iron Wing were pivotal in keeping the Xi’an and UPE from war by providing vital and truthful information to UPE Command. Many speculate that Iron Wing had a hand in this due to the commander, William Castle, who was known at the time for being unmovable in his effort to maintain peace. The history of Iron Wing may be unknown but William Castle’s physiological file is not. The file depicts a hardnosed honest man with a great deal of insight into the affairs at the time.

The historical files pick back up around 2790. Although not much is known about the military operations there is an extensive log left by the commander of the Iron Wing, Arianna Castle.

Her log shows multiple attempts to personally broker deals with Xi’an for peace in order to establish trading routes that would benefit both Human and Xi’an markets for generations.

Intelligence and counter-intelligence operations designed to shift and move both Xi’an and Human assets away from conflict seem to be the most notable points in CMD Arianna’s log.

A profile of Arianna shows a skilled tactician and gutsy combat operator. She favored a more hands on approach. One mission of note, Operation Silence, only list the objective, a list of equipment and one hand written note: Disrupt Xi’an separatist operations, Radia-coil Rifle and Air tanks, “Beacon Disabled.” The Radia-coil rifle was a high caliber rifle designed to be fire in a vacuum…

The end of her log states, “I have disbanded the Iron Wing in order to protect the lives of my operatives.”

The name Iron Wing reappeared in the UEE registry as a private military contractor with name IronWing Corporation in early 2895.

Hundreds of training operations in Xi’an boarder space are registered with the UEE from 2896 to 2920 . As well as diplomatic connections with the Xi’an from the marshal at the time.

The IWC then went dormant for from 2921 to 2946. In 2946 the two pilots, brothers, in the UEE navy brought the IronWing Corporation out of dormancy.

Taking the reins in [2947] John & Aldis Castle began the process of revitalizing the IWC.

Back in the hands of the legendary Castle family, the brothers Castle are bringing the IronWing into the modern age. With the help of close friends and family, IWC is moving forward to reestablish connections and foster greater trust among the galaxy.

Charter

Our Mission:

IWC is here to provide security and freelance work to the galaxy. Taking on contracts from organizations or individuals for any length of time. The key ingredient to an IWC contract is a high moral standard. A standard that is not easily broken. Rest assured that any contract fitting into our standards will be done to completion with the full “above and beyond” measures. Your objective is our passion.

Our Standards

While operating within the laws of the UEE the IWC’s standards mostly deal with keeping the peace. Here at IWC we see a peace keeper different than law enforcement. We are not police officers we are soldiers that keep and maintain a fair and equitable environment. This allows everyone the freedom and liberty to pursue their goals. Being a contractual peace keeper means hard work, constant vigil over our actions and that of our clients and a high degree of skill.
When reviewing a contract our number one question is, “What is the goal of your objective and why?” It is important to understand the motives of our clients. It is in the spirit of liberty for all that we question such motives. Our goal is not a short term ideal but a long term vision. Understanding our clients’ principles helps us serve them better. It’s pretty simple really; pursue goals without removing the freedom of others from theirs in unlawful or immoral manners. Ironwing Corporation will stand alongside our clients to make sure these freedoms are maintained.*

Privacy Policy

Although we do question the motives of our clients we do respect their privacy. What that means is that we investigate for each contact rather than a continuous record of events outside of our involvement. This policy allows IWC the flexibility to negotiate the terms of an agreement rather than a blanket statement. The information and details are always kept confidential unless specified otherwise.

Types of Work:

Operating under the banner of a freelance corporate structure, Ironwing Corp has three basic types;

Security – Escort and defense
Fulfilment – Carrier, Bounty, etc
Investigation – Information gathering and counter-intelligence.

Contract Negotiations

As pertaining to establishing and maintaining integrity with our clients and with IWC moral standard:

As outlined, the clients objective is important to us. Open communication is recommended for prolong service from IWC. If our clients have a fear of certain member(s) of their organization may have the desire to violate their standards and/or IWC standards it is the responsibility of the client to convey that to IWC. Even though this may be a concern it is not necessarily a situation that will hinder a contract, in fact it may warrant greater trust. Additionally, our contracts are structured in the event that extreme cases warrant actions above the “tolerance line.” Actions that excessed the tolerance line specified in a contract are subject to additional fees. Although these scenarios are very rare our clients can rest assure that additional fees are NOT normal and should not be applied regularly. Our clients have the right to question those fees at any time. Typical contracts will usually account for unknown elements.
* IWC clients are also subject to the grey clause; a retaliatory procedure that grants IWC the right to whatever action is necessary to regain or renew IWC assess in the unlikely event a client purposefully and/or willfully break the standards of IWC. It is highly recommended that the client discuss possible issues in an operation and any information about the objective. IWC is not only a security and freelance company but an information broker. Said Information may affect the outcome of missions.
