Intergalactic Operations / IGO

In June 1st 2950s a group of friends resigned from the UEE military’s Elite OPS squadron. Elite OPS squadron was a first-in-combat squad which was always assigned first for the most demanding military tasks. Hence the name: Elite OPS had the best soldiers of the galaxy.

This group had a vision. They wanted to explore the universe and take part in skillful missions. To be able to do this and fund their operations, they created their own company. First they needed a fitting name. Idea of it came from their old unit and their passion for their work. They wanted to manage different operators but in the unknown deep space.

One day, the name of the organization came up and their group is known as Intergalactic Operations (IGO).

IGO is a nonprofit organization. They fund their operations mainly by logistics business. Their subsidiary, IGO transport, handles various space delivery missions throughout the vast space.

Before resigning their old job as a mercenaries they invested their life savings in space ships. IGO has a small but efficient fleet from brutal fighters to exploration ships. With these ships IGO has the cash flow to expand their businesses.

Because of their military background they have wide set of skills for daily use. They all are first-rate pilots and familiar with extreme situations.
Those skills came really fast handy because in the first mission where they were ambushed by Space Pirates but fortunate that was only a small group of pirates so they survived with a minimum ship damages.

This log was recorded on the July 28th 2950 only a month after starting to check nearby planets.
