Salazar was ‘kind’ enough to lend Will the money to buy the cutlass off of him. He didn’t bother to tell him all the repairs it needed. He was also ‘kind’ enough to lease a hangar, for what felt like an exorbitant fee.

The last of Wills’ savings went to repairing the Tachi and getting her flight ready, now there was basically nothing left to make the payments with so we had to begin work right away.

The hangar isn’t awful but could use some elbow grease to make it feel like home.

With less than an earth month to come up with the money, a shred of hope filled the sky above the hangar, although it was probably just a gas vent burning off excess, a couple of contracts signed, and a couple of folks looking for work. Maybe this wouldn’t turn out horrible after all. Hopefully, the other shoe doesn’t drop.
