In the wake of the devastating 2945 Vanduul attack on the Vega System, a new force emerged from the ashes of destruction. Guardians of the Stars organization was fast-tracked for development as the United Empire of Earth (UEE) recognized the urgent need for a dedicated defense and response unit capable of handling the threats that lurked in the darkest corners of space.

The UEE’s request-for-proposal specified the need for a nimble, first-response organization that could operate with the efficiency and firepower of larger military units but at a fraction of the size and cost. Guardians of the Stars bid was selected due to its innovative approach, combining a fleet of agile, heavily armed ships with state-of-the-art technology. Their flagship vessel, the “RSI POLARIS” boasted a fully equipped small craft hangar and a formidable array of torpedo tubes, allowing it to punch well above its weight class.

As part of the UEE Militia Mobilization Initiative, Guardians of the Stars was entrusted with the protection of contested and dangerous regions across the Empire.
