Hello and welcome. I’m Henry Kensington, founder of Gateway Shipping.
I started Gateway in 2943, on Kampos, Ellis. My first ship, a ’43 MISC Freelancer, has been the primary workhorse of the company for nearly a decade. I don’t get out into the ‘verse so much these days, but I’m still driving the company to new heights with as much enthusiasm as ever.
Gateway Shipping is a small transport company based in the Ellis system. From Sol to Terra, and anywhere in between, if something needs to be moved, we’re the ones to move it. We’ve been helping local Ellis businesses get their cargo where it needs to go for nearly 10 years, and we’re now one of the most trusted transport companies in the system.1
As an individual, you want the freedom to make your own way. We respect that. We don’t demand exclusivity. We partner with freelance pilots when required to provide the level of service our customers expect. Positions are always available for reputable pilots with cargo vehicles of any capacity, escort fighters, and crew.
Join Gateway as an affiliate today, and gain access to our comm channels to see our outsourcing contract options. Or, join as a member, and take a shot at climbing the ranks. Who knows? Maybe you could be in charge of your own Gateway depot one day!

Gateway Shipping is a reinterpretation of the faction of the same name from Digital Anvil’s Freelancer (2003), also conceived by Chris Roberts. The lore of Freelancer doesn’t carry over into Star Citizen, and so only names and the general purpose of the company have been kept. Everything else is original.
