GreyHat was founded on the premise that a truly operational business model would be to craft nothing, steal everything, and then sell it at a marked up price. The model emerged from the original crew who spent months mining a floating hunk of rock only to salvage an adrift Coni in a couple of hours, yielding more income than all the time spent on the asteroid. The founding fathers, only 7 of whom still remain, fragmented into the various aspects of the Enterprise each feeding “the machine” in their own way. The corporation has since become all three aspects of the moto, part crafting, part theft, and part sales to form the complete and balanced entity that exists today. Of the original 10 fathers, 3 died to unknown circumstances after meetings at odds with fitting into one of the 3 veins for the company’s arterial direction—to gain as many credits as fast as possible.
