By the late 26th century, those cracks began to show—tensions flared between the company’s leaders, and a bitter power struggle fractured the once-strong foundation of Bork Brothers Inc. The brothers who had built the empire from the ground up became divided. By the time the Second Tevarin War (2945-2947) ended, the company had all but vanished from the public eye. In 2792, the Refounding of the UEE caused even further instability, leading to Bork Brothers Inc.’s ultimate collapse. With no other options, the remnants of the company were absorbed into the UEE military-industrial complex. The Bork legacy, once so proud, seemed to be lost forever.

But like many great empires, they fell apart from within. Corporate infighting among the leadership tore the company apart, leaving it lost and fading into obscurity. The once-great name of Bork Brothers Inc. was on its last legs.

Then came Vlad Vhon-Bork. A seasoned vet of the Tevarin War, Vlad inherited what was left of the family business. The UEE was rising, and Bork Brothers Inc. was absorbed into the Empire’s vast machinery. But when the UEE refounded itself in 2792, it broke the contract that bound the company.
