Every engagement—be it martial, economic, or political—follows a doctrine. Underlying every decision is the need to measure risks, anticipate consequences, and act with calculated foresight. With a foundation built upon ancient principles refined for a modern celestial age, Legio Fulminata stands as both protector and conqueror, ever prepared to bring order to the stars through steel, trade, and strategy.

While being a somewhat exclusive, relaxed, and fully accepting group socially, we strive to be tactically impeccable. This requires working together amiably, communicating well, and being punctual for missions. Our main initiative is planning and executing operations incorporating multiple disciplines, generally towards the more rewarding end of the envelope. We do not keep traditional ranks as tasks are discussed and delegated accordingly for every operation beforehand, though roles exist to streamline all processes.

Members should choose at least one of three roles for themselves or their party. While this is not mandatory, having an indexed roster grants us all the ability to take best advantage of various opportunities as desired. All roles and members are invited to mission planning as to draw upon the greatest insight and form the most viable plans. Members are free to change roles as they choose, but may be asked to change or split roles temporarily if their proficiencies can fill the legion’s immediate deficiencies.

Triarchus – Combat Captains – “With scouts before and bombers galore.” Fulminata combat pilots come from multiple different walks of life, but share many virtues. A legion triarchus is typically busy building and tuning ship systems or testing themselves in dogfight competition, allowing them to capitalize on experience with both systems and maneuvers as a flight or squadron in combat.

Praetorian – FPS Security – “Kill first, die last.” By far the most hardened role in the legion, praetorians otherwise maintain a quality of extreme professionalism and adaptability. Proficient at leveraging tactics and violence of action either individually or as a group, this arm of the legion is the most critical interface with the adversary in nearly every operation.

Viator – Trading – “And if you wrong us, shall we not revenge?” The lifeblood of the legion, viators are needed to accommodate the logistical and industrial aspects of the legion. Tasks generally include simple cargo acquisitions, battlefield support, mercantile, or commodity exploitations. If you prefer a more peaceful and serene lifestyle in the verse or want to pursue risk-intensive tasks without having to watch your own back, this is the role for you.
