Welcome to Deep Space Salvage Ltd.
We are a family run Salvage operation that operates well within the law, but will protect any valid claim with force.
As a consequence of running extended deep space operations, we also find profit in exploration.

History

Founded in 2832 by India Weller, Deep Space Salvage Ltd began as a one-ship search and rescue firm, struggling to expand and make a name for itself. In 2834, DSS Ltd’s vessel HARPOON and her crew were hired to assist a Terran firm on a salvage and wreck removal operation. When the job became economically unfeasible for the Terran firm, DSS Ltd took it over (more of a challenge than a sound business logic) and completed it. This success was a milestone for the company, marking it the first of a long series of salvages and wreck removal projects. Throughout the 2840-50’s, the company acquired more ships, enabling it to build a salvage business capable of carrying out extended deep space salvage operations.

Following on from a successful marketing campaign, DSS Ltd became affectionately known as the Junk Monkeys.
