The Origins of Dreamlanders

The rise of Dreamlanders began in the chaotic aftermath of Pyro’s official navigation routes opening. Once an ungoverned system plagued by outlaws, opportunists, and corporate interests vying for hidden resources, Pyro became the crucible where Dreamlanders was forged.

The organization was founded by two enigmatic figures, Merkorion and Nocturux, both seasoned operators with deep roots in the shadows of Stanton. Their backgrounds remain classified, but whispers in the underworld speak of former UEE black ops, defected Advocacy enforcers, and even ex-Naval paramedics who had seen too much and trusted too little.

When Pyro was formally charted, chaos reigned. The Nine Tails cartel, XenoThreat remnants, and ruthless independent pirates seized control of the sector’s most valuable assets. The UEE, stretched thin and unwilling to commit fully, left law enforcement to corporations and mercenary groups. Merkorion and Nocturux saw an opportunity—a need for balance between absolute lawlessness and authoritarian rule.

Dreamlanders was born.

The Dreamlands Doctrine: “Order in the Abyss”

Dreamlanders quickly established itself as a private military company (PMC) with two core objectives:

Bounty Hunting – Targeting high-value criminals, syndicate leaders, and warlords who thrive in Pyro’s lawless expanse.

Medical Aid & Extraction – Offering combat medic services, high-risk extractions, and search-and-rescue operations for stranded civilians and mercs alike.

The organization’s name—Dreamlanders—reflects its paradoxical identity. In the lawless nightmare of Pyro, they are the ones who bring order, ensuring that not all dreams end in death. Their forces operate like ghosts, striking without warning and vanishing before enemies can retaliate.

Unlike many mercenary outfits, Dreamlanders does not operate purely for profit. While credits are essential, their ultimate goal is to shape Pyro into a sustainable frontier, where survival isn’t just for the strongest, but for those who understand the game.

Operations & Influence

Pyro Stronghold: Dreamlanders established multiple hidden FOBs (Forward Operating Bases) within Pyro’s asteroid belts, derelict stations, and abandoned outposts.

Bounty Authority: Working with select security firms and intel networks, Dreamlanders executes high-value bounties on both Nine Tails warlords and rogue PMCs looking to carve their own fiefdoms.

Emergency Extraction Teams: They are known for their “Last Light” doctrine—deploying rapid-response medical teams to recover injured operatives from warzones where no one else would dare enter.

Corporate Contracts & Shadow Wars: Dreamlanders’ neutrality has made them a wildcard for megacorporations looking for discreet solutions in Pyro, whether against industrial sabotage, hijackings, or internal betrayals.

Despite their growing reputation, Dreamlanders walks a fine line. Their refusal to become simple corporate attack dogs or pirate sympathizers has earned them both allies and enemies in equal measure. The Nine Tails see them as a threat, while the UEE views them as “useful but unregulated assets.”

Charter

General Rules:

1: By joining, you agree to both the RSI Terms of Service, Discord Terms of Service and our rules.

2: Be respectful and friendly at all times.

3: Profiles (avatars, names, “About Me”, etc) must not contain offensive, harmful, or protected content, nor may they be used to impersonate others.

Content and Behavior:

4: No racist, sexist, extremist, adult, violent, drug-related, or illegal content (including nicknames, avatars, messages, links, etc.). Violations will result in an immediate ban.

5: Slander, trolling, insults, and harassment are strictly prohibited.

6: Self-promotion (links, videos, channels) is only allowed with prior permission from the org/discord owners/moderators.

7: Do not harass users with higher ranks, whether on the server or via private messages/friend requests.

8: Private conversations should remain private.

9: No spamming, excessive capslock, or excessive use of graphics/GIFs. Avoid “WhatsApp-style” messages (short, fragmented text).

10: Respect ongoing conversations—don’t interrupt.

11: Provocative discussions or debates are not allowed.

12: Don’t expose others publicly or invade their privacy.

13: Never share personal information (address, phone number, etc.) with people you don’t know. Sharing private data is prohibited.

14: Stick to the relevant channel topics and keep conversations on-topic.

15: Encouraging rule violations is forbidden.

16: Officers, Admins and moderators have the final say in all matters.

17: Political, religious, or other sensitive topics are NOT allowed. Keep the real world OUT.
