This is not an org, this is an offer.
Please see the other two sections for some real information.
I followed Star Citizen for a long time before playing it and even then I still had some itch to be a merchant of some kind. I always knew from the dev notes and the breakdowns made by community members explaining the larger scope game mechanics but when the relatively mid received citcon 2024 came and I saw day 2’s last panel, that last panel became my favorite panel.
A history will be made here. Might list some of my previous exploits as a player before business history can be made.
A future facing effort of trade inspired by the potential of an endgame where access to shops is important. If you want better perks we have to build that trust together so we can be ready if and when that time comes.
(perks include e.g. easier shipping.)
As for products the plan is always to have the best but let’s be reasonable, for example I’d figure I want to supply you bulk well performing fighter components and if business allows top tier too but its all a matter of how things shake out post release. If you want something tangible from me now you can take what I do now as a some token of good success, I pvp to a decent level, I’ve pirated over multiple patches, I know my industry side of the game and that will all be still building from here to release. I am also in touch with the direction of the game’s vision.
I will have no restrictions on customers as far as rep goes just don’t fuck up the 7-11.
Building trust means you can expect to buy more advantageous services that other customers will not be getting. It’s like government contracts, once they’re gone that’s it. Need a refueler for a weekend? Be trusted. Want cheaper or easier delivery? Be trusted.
Until that point all business is done as safe as possible for both your and my sake. Orders start out small and are relatively risk free for me leaning on credits being upfront. Our safety, yours and mine, trust, and rep is everything.
So introduce yourself, I’ll be fragging and pirating until then. You can find me on discord and if your in the right places you’ll find me, friend me, seek me out, do as you wish.
For prospecting crew, this is invitation only. However feel free to inquire, I will not deny you this.
This business is not for the weak. I will outline the challenges and benefits so you can get a gauge for what to expect.
For the uninitiated, the endgame of Star Citizen is very EVE-like. EVE has a reputation for being a ruthless game to play. However, as much as scams existed in that game the best businesses operated on trust, reputation, and more importantly power.
As nice as base building and station building look, we here at this company have no such delusions of grandeur.
You are a courier.
This is not a dig at you or I, this is the reality of endgame. All the bobs who think they can carve a station anywhere outside of high sec are literally reclassed as legitimate salvage as of reading this. There is no hope for them, let alone the taxes they would have to pay in high sec. This is not a solely pvp game tho so they’ll find their way I suppose.
Being a courier is about being realistic. Someone who understands the upcoming org landscape and finding the perfect spot. We are couriers, not just you but me too.
For us the verse is a place to carve out a profit whilst sitting back and watching orgs go to war making games and bets out of what pilot is going blow up first.
For my power players out there your going to need to be smart and able to defend yourself. You can’t be getting caught going thru OM points or popular routes. You’ll need to be a pilot of some capacity but your wits should be mostly be the thing protecting you and your product. If all else fails having some fps skill and calling for help is your last card you can play. The odds will be stacked against you but you probably already knew that. It’s the same for everyone unless they’re shelling out the credits to keep themselves safe. Although credits don’t last forever like this and you want something more.
As for newer players you might have issues getting accepted to being with but that doesn’t mean if you don’t want to be apart of this bad that your out of options. I’m well enough in the position to raise you up to bar. You just won’t get your colors till later. You’ll be given simpler tasks and some material to learn over as you progress. If there’s any advice I’d give you to start, know what correct QT jumping looks like, know the dangers of snare camps, and know your popular routes to avoid. You don’t have to know everything about but get your feet wet courier.
You can expect quarters to place your stuff and get settled among some starship we will be working out of.
As of now we will not be headquartering anywhere, we stay moving and live on ships.
This will be a smaller operation than bloated and over burdened orgs you’ve seen in this field.
We will have realistic intentions.
As for membership, that is something to be discussed. I’m primarily with BlightVeil however this is my own effort but with my connection to them comes some rep, not for flexing but for potential dangers associated. Nothing too serious now but something we will adapt with in future. This is mentioned more for the express purpose of you in mind. While this company is open to members from BV how do members recruited outside that fit into this crew? That will be something for BV to decide when it comes to working with them more closely. We will be out on our own accord for most of our time anyhow.
Again, for the uninitiated. Spies are everywhere. (and they will be only more rampant as time goes on)
Info is on a need to know basis only.
You’ll get what you need to finish your goal. If not, missions can change hands as its all normal run of the mill.
I will get you somewhere.
