Blue Nova / BLUENOVA

Born 2884 on Caliban to a UEEN pilot of the 88th Squadron and a civilian salvage captain, Horace Tibbs joined the UEE Navy. While serving in the Navy Horace met Boltohn and Skadei.

After their thirty years of service (2931) they stayed in contact with each other, despite their different career paths. Horace, making careful investments during his service into companies such as BiotiCorp, was able to bank some capital for his future. After his retirement from the Navy Horace took employment with Li Govran of Titans Shipping and Security Company, using his experience as a Perseus captain to oversee their convoy patrols. Upon the death of Li Govran, his son Ri Govran was made the head of the shipping company but wasn’t interested in leadership and sold his interest to Horace Tibbs.

Later in 2945 the Vanduul War started, and Titans Shipping and Security Company was taking constant losses. Horace Tibbs reached out to Boltohn who was looking to retire from UEE military service. Upon Boltohn’s recommendation, several skilled veteran pilots, such as Rosh Corbin, and former servicemen were hired to shore up the security side of the company. In 2946 the company was rechartered as a private military company, with Boltohn and Skadei accepting offers in the leadership of the newly christened Blue Nova PMC. Using their experience as veterans of the UEE armed forces, the company would operate similar to a corps containing five divisions and adopted the Blue Phoenix as their icon. The organization truly never dies, just rises from the ashes again and grows larger.
