History

Atlantic Galactic Starline history begins with Aremis’s first aerial crop dusting operation called John Cutter Dusters, Inc. The company was founded on March 2, 2900 on Aremis Vega II in the Vega System, before moving to the Elysium System in summer 2925 settling on Vosca. It flew a Drake Duster, the first true crop duster, designed to combat the Acid weevil infestation of Robin Fruit crops. Sly Delvecchio, general manager and later AGS’s first CEO, led a group of local investors to acquire the company’s assets. Atlantic Galactic Starline was incorporated on December 3, 2928, and named after the Atlantic Ocean of Earth the seed of humanity.

Passenger operations began on June 17, 2929, from New Dallas, to Rane Falls , with stops at Ramsey Fields and Monroe, Aremis. By June 2930, service had extended east to other systems. Passenger service ceased in October 2930 when the airmail contract for the route AGS had pioneered was awarded to another airline, which purchased the assets of Tyson Air Services. Local banker Sabrina Ritchie, acting as a trustee, Sly Delvecchio, and other local investors purchased back the crop-dusting assets of Atlantic Galactic Starline and incorporated as Atlantic Galactic Corporation on December 31, 2930.

Atlantic Galactic Corporation secured an air mail contract in 2934, and began doing business as Atlantic Galactic Starline over Mail Route 24. Atlantic moved its headquarters from Aremis Vega II, to its current location on Jalan in the Elysium System in 2941. The company name officially became Atlantic Galactic Starline in 2945. In 2946, the company commenced regularly scheduled freight transport. In 2949, the company launched the first discounted fares between Jalan and Vosca. In 2953, the company launched its first interstellar routes after the acquisition of Ban-Manage Air Lines. In 2959, it was the first airline to fly the Drake Drake-8. In 2960, it was the first airline to fly Drake 880 jets. In 2964, it launched the Atlant-o-matic reservation systems. In 2965, Atlantic Galactic Starline was the first airline to fly the Crusader Industries Genesis Starliner.
