First in the Action

In the ever-expanding frontier of the UEE, ALAS stands as a vigilant force, ready to defend, protect, and guide those in need. We are more than just pilots. We are explorers, guardians, traders, and seekers of truth.

History

The Origins of ALAS – A Civilian Initiative Turned Guardian Force

ALAS was not born as a military force but as a beacon of hope. In the lawless expanse of the frontier, where the protective reach of the UEE faltered, countless settlers found themselves vulnerable—prey to raiders, warlords, and corporate exploitation. A group of civilian pilots, traders, and engineers banded together to provide aid, security, and stability where none existed.

As ALAS gained influence, so did the threats against it. Without a structured defense, their humanitarian efforts risked being wiped out. In response, the initiative evolved beyond mere aid work, forging a disciplined force committed to defending those who could not protect themselves. Through hard-earned experience and the support of unseen allies, ALAS transformed from a scattered group of volunteers into a well-coordinated protective force.

Today, ALAS stands as a symbol of freedom, unity, and order, a shield against the chaos that looms beyond civilized space.

The Future of ALAS

Our mission has not changed. ALAS remains dedicated to safeguarding the vulnerable, ensuring that no one stands alone against the darkness. Through humanitarian aid, strategic defense, and decisive action against growing threats, ALAS continues to serve as the unwavering guardian of those beyond the reach of empire and law.

ALAS in Action – Notable Engagements

ALAS has played a noticeable role in several key operations throughout the Stanton and Pyro systems. Some of our most notable missions include:

2954 Blockade Runner
During the “Big Trouble in Stanton” crisis, ruthless criminal factions raided low-orbit stations, intercepting critical supplies of Zeta-Prolanide. ALAS pilots joined forces with the Civilian Defense Force (CDF) to break through the enemy blockade, recover stolen cargo, and restore order.

2954 Overdrive Initiative
With intelligence warning of an imminent XenoThreat attack on Stanton, ALAS volunteers aided the CDF in a series of high-risk missions. Their strategic efforts helped counteract the terrorist group’s growing influence, safeguarding civilians and trade routes.

2954 Save Stanton
Amidst a wave of violent crime in Stanton, ALAS responded to distress calls from civilian transports and outposts under siege by the notorious “Slicers” gang. Their swift intervention prevented mass casualties and played a key role in dismantling the gang’s operations.

2955 Fight for Pyro
As tensions escalated in Pyro, ALAS operatives assisted in critical missions aimed at stabilizing the war-torn system. Whether securing supply lines or repelling extremist attacks, ALAS stood as a crucial force in maintaining order.

Ongoing: Supply or Die
In the aftermath of the Frontier Fighters’ exposure as terrorists, ALAS continues to combat their forces, ensuring the safety of civilians while supporting the stabilization of Pyro and Stanton.

Manifesto

We are ALAS.

Born from necessity, driven by duty. We are explorers, guardians, and defenders of those left behind. We do not seek dominion, nor do we impose our will upon others. Instead, we stand for those who cannot stand for themselves.

Our mission is clear:

To protect civilians beyond the reach of the UEE.

To ensure free trade, safe travel, and the exchange of knowledge.

To eliminate threats before they take root.

To act with honor, unity, and unwavering resolve.

ALAS does not serve tyrants, nor do we engage in lawlessness. We are the watchers in the void, the first to respond when danger calls, and the last line of defense when all else fails.

The darkness does not wait. Neither do we.
