The 13th Armada is a PMC based on the Australian servers. We pride ourselves on fun immersive game play, with hosted ops and training sessions.
The 13th Armada was originally a small detachment of the UEE Expeditionary Naval Fleet, primarily consisting of outdated combat vessels hastily assembled to maintain control of a new system found on the outer rim of UEE controlled space. Their primary mission was to establish a UEE presence in the region until reinforcements could arrive to properly secure the region.
Unluckily for the men and women of the 13th, only weeks into their deployment they encountered a Vanduul strike force active within the system. What ensured was a quick and bloody battle between the two forces. Being outnumbered and outmatched the UEE forces casualties mounted up quickly with many of their capital ships being lost in the initial minutes of the engagement.
Realising their peril the surviving forces of the 13th retreated out of system. The operation was considered a complete disaster. In an attempt to quickly gain control of the public narrative, the UEE high command choose to disband the 13th Armada, with the men and women of the 13th unceremoniously receiving their discharge papers. The system was ultimately left to the Vanduul, the UEE choosing to concentrate their fleets elsewhere.
Abandoned by their commanders, the surviving members chose to maintain the bonds formed in combat and founded the private military contracting firm “the 13th Armada”. Choosing to maintain their fleet identity, many veterans purchased the remaining badly damaged ships from the original battle with the Vanduul. Now in control of their missions and their destiny in the ‘verse, the 13th Armada flies once again.
