A crazy medicine student on Carmor Minor thinks about an experiment, to create a new generation of pilots for space fights. He thinks about a genetic combination of Humans for intelligence and creativity with Felines for faster reflexes and higher resistance against g-forces.
After a whole year of research he finished his work and successful create a stable hybrid lifeform. Because the kittens growing faster, Yemaya only needed a few month from baby to adult. Although the experiment was a full success he wasn't able to replicate the procedure to create another Hume-Cat hybrid. The simple reason for this was the fact, that most cats don't like it to be captured alone in a small room, so Yemaya try out the effectiveness of her claws in split humans in half to escape from the moon, not without destroying the whole research facility.
In a small space vessel she flying through the space for months to find a new home and was found by some prospectors given her a new place to life and a duty.
