A military veteran of distinguished service, upon retirement Thamas Rugin (UEEM/UEEN ret.) found himself increasingly embittered about how he saw veterans being pushed aside and forgotten after their service. The growing oppression and lack of liberty for individual citizens, along with the greed and corruption of the corporatocratic system infecting the UEE government like a cancer, left Rugin disillusioned. He was looking for change and felt Earth was no longer the home of his heart.
Setting out for parts unknown with his longtime friends and business partners, Rugin found himself in the Stanton system...a place of extreme corporate dominance. Instead moving on, he stayed in Stanton and decided it might be a place where he could make a difference and effect change.
