Oliver was born into wealth in the industrialist Irminsul clan of Europe, tracing their ancestry to the Boch's of Willeroy and Boch in the French economic Saar region protectorate of the 1920's. They where one of the few "traditional" industrialists left in Europe during the 1990's that had not moved production to cheaper thirdworld nations. The Irminsul's where among the first to put seriouse financial muscles behind the Mars industrial park in the Valles Marineris. Today the Irminsul's mostly have their hands in metals and other heavyindustry goods with a "small" business on the side exporting tanzanite gemstones. Personally Oliver Irminsul has the unlucky fate of being one of the most investigated business magnates right behind Jimmy D'nose the gass baron of Barilla. Referring to himself as "a oligarch but not a tycoon" his oldworld style of management has become his company's salvation as Terrans aswell as non-humans appreciates the nostalgia associated with their products.
