My name is Giovanni Battista Zupi. I was born a generation after Galileo, but I knew him well. Thanks to his achievements, I was able to construct a slightly larger telescope and studied Mercury, proving that it is a planet, not a star.
One clear night I was at my telescope when I observed something in the sky distort the heavenly array and I was suddenly transported into a tunnel of light.
I was instantly transported to a planet called Microtech where I quickly adapted to this fantastical universe. I wrote historical texts and earned enough aUEC to purchase an exploration ship.
Now I travel to those points of light that I could see only in a small telescope.
