Micma was a multi-awarded UEE fighter pilot recognized for his skill, bravery, and leadership but after multiple tours under Rear Admiral Davun Fecari he realized that Navy life was not for him. As much as he loved the thrill of the dogfight, the adrenaline of combat, and the pride in protecting those who couldn’t protect themselves he had developed a really bad habit of disobeying orders; most notably when to dis-engage an enemy.
An enemy ship didn’t stop being an enemy ship just because it had entered a different system and calling off pursuit due to an imaginary line in space got harder and harder with each mission. Eventually he overstepped, didn’t disengage, and caused quite a military screw up between the UEE and a sovereign star system.
Thanks to Davun, he was dis-honorably discharged instead of court-martialed and now he free lances as a Bounty Hunter, The Head of Acquisitions for Cryo Dynamics; a company he co founded with Davun. Imaginary lines in space? Nah, I don’t see them.
